Yes, I doubt he has any control. Kto Kto always prices very reasonably. Sorry if I came across like I was faulting him.
That's a good point. Even though this does come with 2 heads and a different arm, $300 seems a bridge too far.
This is the Kaijyu Battleground play set he sculpted I mentioned earlier. I think this is absolutely brilliant and just bleeds 80s nostalgia. Packaging is tight too
I’d been impressed by this rotting robo for a while now, thinkin’ it’s pretty rad, but maybe not for me, since Kto debuted the test pull. Kept seein’ this first release and a couple one offs he did on the explore page of Instagram recently, and decided to see for myself, in hand, whether it is for me or not. And I am far from disappointed with the decision! This is one of the busiest toys I’ve ever held, but in the best of ways. There’s a lot going on, but it’s so intricate and well thought out that your eyes can easily attach themselves to any, individual detail in the sculpt. And I absolutely appreciate how much effort and differentiation went into painting the details throughout. Concise, sensical, intentional, and readable. Very much reminds me of the terribly built, but fun wind up robots I had as a kid. I’m happy with only this version, but I wouldn’t mind maybe one more. It’d be fun to see a paint homage to the orange Bullmark Curricular Machine. Spoiler
I had the same exact toys. I loved mighty max, and not just for my namesake. I was really tempted to go in on the battleground, but there's really not as much playability as there would be in a mighty max set.
I don't think it's private. Unless he/she changed it at some point. https://www.instagram.com/thurscream/
