Gargamel Lucky Bags 2019 (there will be spoilers)

Also Gargamel increased the number of lucky bags this year. I think both to give fans more of a chance and to offest the rising production costs. That is an incredible amount of work and I commend Kiyoka for it. He has always wanted to keep the cost affordable and is willing to take on even more work in order to do so. Every painted toy in a lucky bag is cut, painted and packaged by Gargamel, not farmed out.

Prediction: Mecha Bakobas head and then reuse existing mecha molds for the rest of the body to keep costs down.
Then again, Bakobas showed up two years ago? and didn't get much love.

 

The fact we still get these every year is incredible. With the price of one off figures being out of reach for a lot of people it's truly a gift that people can get two standard figures and more for such a reasonable price point.

 

Called S7 SF and they don’t have them in store yet, they said maybe tomorrow. I might be crazy enough to brave Bay Area traffic to get one in hand and post pictures tomorrow. I’ll keep you all updated.

 

So I’m searching #ggml on Instagram and seeing nothing. I tried #ggmlluckybag as well but only old photos. Any other suggestions? It’s blowing my mind that no pics have surfaced yet! #impatient

 

Only other suggestion would be #ガーガメル but no luck there either @straightoutta..LOKASH .. I guess we just have to wait a couple more days max!

 

Stoked for my first lucky bag ! Only have 2 Gargamel pieces so anything I get would be a win. Wishing for a mecha anything or vendorbot with GID driver !

 

I really thought I'd wake up to some post from overseas this morning. Hopefully some of the US vendors will be getting their bags today.

Sellers have them ... didn't Super 7 open at least one? ... people in Japan should have opened some this weekend ? .. yet ,... Nothing. Not here or Instagram or anywhere I can find ...
Sigh. ... Maybe the bags are so awesome that people die from the shock when opened = that's why there aren't any pictures

One of my close friends always get his bag direct from Koji because he works with him on different toy things. In the past he got his bag before pretty much anyone else who gets them at retail. This year Koji said he would ship it after they are for sale other places so as of today he hasn't shipped my friend his bag yet. I believe it's just to have more people surprised and happy when they get their own bags in hand and to prevent spoilers from happening as early as they used to. Which I think is awesome and my friend doesn't mind at all because the friendship price is significantly lower than the retail price. So I believe the lack of spoilers is intentional and mostly because some of the people who get bags first are getting them when everyone else does this time.

 

Gonna go open bags on Wednesday with Jim from Foe and hopefully a couple others. I think I’m gonna live stream it on IG (unless I feel weird). Pretty excited to see some spoilerzzz!

 

They'll probably show up on Mandarake before IG at the rate we're going.

My bag is expected to show up Thursday by 8pm. I’ll be at work for 48 hrs straight. the earliest I could see my bag is sometime late Saturday. That’s too long. Some one please post a picture of what’s in a bag....
