    I get this wholeheartedly.
However, Mori seems so humble. He has a system that works for him.

The aftermarket prices are so high and he could charge so much more.
However he doesn't. He continues to sell toys via lottery while they constantly get flipped. It's so frustrating for collectors and I get that. But I assume he is aware.

As far as I know, Mori still does all his own brushwork where needed and all the sprays and masking are still run through Goto. So, there’s a real limit to how much he can produce. Distribution, especially whilst keeping retail prices so utterly and consistently reasonable, takes a massive cut off one’s bottom line, so it’s little wonder Mori would keep sales going just at events he can personally attend. I hardly find it surprising that the demand (worldwide) outpaces the supply. He could easily take the HxS route and out price 99% of his fans. It’s impressive to me that he holds true to his long-time standards.

As a side note - I have molds at one of Mori’s main vinyl factory, and I have looooong wait times (despite being there almost 10 years and consistently placing large orders), so there’s also that side of the production process to keep in mind.

Makers are more or less 1 person companies. It’s no picnic.
