Been hanging with my sister's dogs while on vaca, but realized I miss my own more. She's a jerk sometimes, but we still love her.
I'm sure she's enjoying your visit to Austin, Greg! For my girlfriend's birthday, I had a bust made of her Great Pyrenees mix. My buddy usually sculpts & paints stuff along the lines of Lovecraft, and Hammer Horror - but he did an absolute bang-up job on this and on a VERY short schedule. Had our Jason Brooks do the lettering too, since her Lucy tattoo doesn't have any & his shop is near my work I should come back with an updated photo of the "Dog Wall" and the Lucy tattoo, since it's been done for some time now.
That bust of Lucy is one of the best things ever, what an excellent idea for a gift! I don't remember if I posted this before, my wife the art history major noted the similarities in our puppy photo and a famous piece of medieval art....
Added a new family member over the weekend but boy has it been a real struggle introducing him to our other pooch..
Thanks Rich! he's 9 weeks and weighs 9 lbs, he's a loving little fella but those teeth are like needle's!
World's oldest dog dies at 26. Story: http://www.abc.net.au/news/2011-12-06/w ... ite=sydney I wish this was not an exception but a norm. I know I am not the only one who wishes our dogs could live longer.
So, this stray dog was living in the yard where I work for the last few months. Long story short... Me and my new dog by ilmuffino, on Flickr My new dog by ilmuffino, on Flickr
