Thanks! They look much nicer when they aren't melting into the furniture. They are a type of alternative bulldog. Good eye. The father of my male(white) is Hugo and the father of the female(brown) is Brock. http://gargoylebulldogs.com/GARGOY~1/Page_1x.html
that website is awesome!! English bulldogs are my dog of choice, hoping to get a puppy within the next year or two. Beautiful dogs you have Turtletooth.
Thanks man! They are my pride and joy. Chadde's website is so weird, but he definately knows what he's doing when it comes to breeding bigger, healthier, more atheletic bulldogs. Here is my dog's father Hugo hitting the sleeve at 10 years old.
Turtletooth, they are so gorgeous. They do look so much better in the upright position.. They would get along great with my little guy. Bulldogs are such great dogs for sure.. @ goldenarm english bullys are awesome dogs for sure but if you do decide to get one please do your research on the breeder first. Ive had a few friends get one and not realize how much work they can be and how expensive the up keep can be, and they wound up getting rid of them after the first year because it was just to much money time and work. I wish I could have taken them in but one is enough for me. They are prone to many many skin diseases, breathing problems, eye problems etc etc..They require daily care that if you dont keep up on they will get really sick, and most english bulls have to be fed human food like lamb, eggs, rice, yogurt, fresh fruit etc because of food allergies, the over the counter dog food just isnt healthy enough for them even the expensive stuff. Im in no way trying to talk you out of one, in my eyes bulldogs of any breed are far and away my favorite. Just want to educate people on them so your dog dosent end up at the pound. Heres another shot of my little guy
Thanks for the advice and sharing the awesome photos Widowmaker, myself and my girlfriend have wanted one for the last few years but we are waiting until the time is right before we get a dog. We have done a bit of research but definitely the more you know the better prepared you can be.
Yup no doubt.. I always say go for it because im an EB lover, they are the most loving dogs and they are so protective. They are just alot of work, the good thing is if you keep up on them then there are minimal problems, its when people get lazy that they get sick. Both of my friends that got one just didnt keep up on them and its like one thing leads to another and before you know it the dog has multiple things wrong with it and its to overwhelming for some to nurse it back to health. Im sure if you get one you and your girl will do great with him/her, I hope you decide to get one..
the friends!!! my dentist used to bring his british bull dog puppies to his office. (they'd be in his actual office, not in procedural rooms) they were the sweetest babies in the world. he'd let me stop by on the way out to give each of them a good ear rubbin.
boxer party! I have a boxer, they're such fun dogs! that must be a blast hanging out with all of those dogs!
Yeah Boxers are the best! It smells of farts so bad in here today though!!! Ours are the Boxer bottom left and my daughter's Boston x Jack Russell in the middle, the others belong to family and just came round to chill out for the day
It's a sad day, as we had to say goodbye to our 13yr. old Schnauzer, Mephisto. Our girl Jasmine is pictured on the left. This was a couple of years ago. You can't really see it in this pic, but he had tall pointy ears that gave him a very devilish/batman look.
Thirteen years is a long time for a doggie. I am sure Mephisto lived a long and happy life. I hope that gives you some comfort with your loss. Our condolences to your family.
