Your comprehension is astounding. At no point did I ever say that, and if you had done any amount of reading here you would also know otherwise. Honestly man, take your grudges elsewhere; no one is getting baited into your inane non-arguments.
You seem to be the only one getting bent out of shape here. If you can’t deal with people passing a simple comment on the state of the current toy market and some of the less savoury aspects of the hobby then maybe SB isn’t for you. If you don’t have a problem why are you trying to create one?
Just bringing this thread back on topic. With the positive (and negative) comments coming out from ToyCon this year, and the general sentiment of solidarity that - aforementioned discussion excluded - has been by and large the consensus I think, I feel like it would be a good time to revisit something I have floated here previously on this thread and likely by PM with several of you. I think we all recognise now that our little geographical pocket (of which I am just an appreciative guest) is niche even in this hobby. And what with ToyCon becoming maybe a different beast, and never really catering in whole to this crowd in any case, perhaps we can take the chance to organise something informal for us. I know I have looked with enjoyment (and a fair amount of envy) on other group gatherings in the US, so I am just going to put it out there. I would be willing to host a similar, chill, relaxed, fun-only, backyard toy community get-together for anyone who wanted to make the journey. I've got some [small] room/bed/couches to put up one or two people, and some space to pitch a tent or two. It would be a weekend in the summer, hopefully taking advantage of the few times we have some nice weather. Maybe an evening on a Saturday, to allow people to travel, etc. We could do a tradefest, show-n-tell, film screenings, whatever anyone is up for really. Have a bevvy or two, nice bbq. Full disclosure, I am not any sort of artist, so I can't put on any nice exhibition (much as I like to), nor can I perform any talent for you guys. In fact, I am a complete misanthrope in all respects who shies away from social functions. But for the sake of fostering some good community and chilling with like-minded folks who just want to talk toys and have a good time, I am more than willing to be the central point. Could become a regular or rotating event, or just a one off. Might be good to connect some faces with names, and bring back some fellas who have strayed away from SB these days. What says everyone, is there any interest out there?
At no point did you say what? You said this above. What don't you know? You said something or other "I don't know who or why" right there.
You don't understand. You live in the UK too, coercive control is illegal. You can't come on here like you all used to, online doxing peoples personal info that you want to put shame on just because they simply put a Ninja Turtle up for sale.
You've posted here in a total of three threads (I will leave it to others to judge for themselves the value of those contributions). And I am sure it pretty blatantly clear to anyone else reading from this interaction and your previous 'discussions' on SB what your personal beef is. But, just to be clear, while you might think Brian is some vague overlord running this secret cabal of haters out to get you, it is spelled out very clearly in black and white in simple English I am sure you can understand within two dedicated topics: 'http://skullbrain.org/bb/index.php?threads/on-flipping.47790/' http://skullbrain.org/bb/index.php?threads/a-post-about-flipping.11257/ I really don't think it could be any clearer.
I don’t think you have a proper understanding of the law. There was no personal information posted. EBay user names wouldn’t qualify and they are public eBay listings so no confidential info involved. There was no call for further action either. Maybe go chill for a bit and let this one go.
Heads up! A job lot of possibly 30 soft vinyl TNMT keyrings going cheap on YJP ending in 5 hours with no bids!!! Useful if you have 30 kids or want to hold on to them for 7 years.
Last 30 mins to go and there's still no bids! Some really nice looking vintage mini Turtles figures just like the old Popy pendants. The keyring connection is only like a little white plastic tag where it looks like they actually started out as a toy and at 8600Y that's what? less than 300Y a piece!!!!!!! Oooooh, fetch my handbag quick!
And as for the Turtles on YJP they remain unsold as expected, but then it seems some of the ardent everyday regulars on here calling me a troll wouldn't even have the brains to get anything from there.
Any comics folk in the Hull area? Cool exhibition about to open. Was super happy to be asked to contribute some stuff for it!
