You can edit your misleading posts out, and I'll edit mine, and no one will have to see them ever again...

Kik, you have a great collection and I'm sure you're very knowledgeable about toys. But you should really really stop publicly spitting on people. If you actually have facts to back your claims, fine, but don't just go and try to smear people's reputations. It stinks and in the end makes you look like a total asshole.

Just like to bump Brian's post (and also second slipstar's comments)

Thought I would throw out my two cents on the matter, though that might leave me little change to spare in my head, as flipping is always something that has irked me. I still can't get over when I see 'dealers' lined up outside a Salvation Army (e.g.) at opening time to grab their 'collectibles' to put in their shops/flea markets.

I think the bottomline is that you know it when you're doing it. And when it happens, it is pretty obvious. :| You know it, we know it; and anyone expecting to price gouge can just keep [it]. As collectors/fans/whathaveyou of any media, be it vinyl, comics, toys, etc., I think it goes against the definition to even be a flipper. A collector buys (and might sometimes sell) as a hobby, a flipper does it as a business. That great beast that is now ebay was started out for collectors (I still remember doing searches for vintage Star Wars in its infancy and returning only handfuls of items) but sadly has become the latter. Yes, it is still a tool we can all use, though I often would rather not, but the true-to-nature comraderie of interacting with your fellow fans and collectors is what makes a forum like SB so great.

Of course there is going to be gradual exchanges of figures back and forth between members, heck, how else can you complete your collection :D ? I just think it of it like trading cards on the playground. So all that said, it seems that the self-regulation that occurs on these discussion boards is great, and highly geared towards us as fans. And if for some reason a 'flipper' does join the forum, seems lie a silly move to me, but I guess the free market will decide.

    [Rant Over]

And now for something completely different....

I don't know. Mr Wentworth just told me to come in here and say that there was trouble at the mill, that's all...
I didn't expect a kind of Spanish Inquisition.

    Awesome attitude, leili.

There's definitely Much to be loved here. Just keep with the positive, and all will be well.

And yeah, this thread is 1 of the best; as been said, "like scripture here". Well at least the 1st half anyway.

Thanks for indirectly bringin me back to it actually ("Active Topics").

I'm pretty new to SB but have picked up some great pieces at retail or less here. Previously I only used the Kidrobot Forum which was ok but I paid over the odds for a lot.
Really appreciate the work that's gone into SB and the members who stick to great deals. My collection is growing and I'm not paying triple the price for bits!

@vapdee I think that people here would have less of a problem with your posts if you just made your own thread dedicated to the Bill Of Rights concept and actually took the time to explain yourself there. You are a member, you can have your own threads.

However, when you just keep posting self-referential replies to old threads, people get annoyed.

Un-fucking-real. Some people cannot take a hint.
Oh & expert troll move starting this crap up again in a pinned thread.

Whatever dude. Keep on dredging up shit and promoting the same to an audience you've insulted and threatened

    Rock solid, John.

Slinging shit at the presumptive constituency only makes you and your message smell like shit, @vapdee. Toss that chip on your shoulder into the wastebin, shower up - taking care to rinse the wax out of your ears - and try again in an appropriate spot. You might want to disinfect your keyboard first, though.
