    Try to be constructive here:
Finally get some closure and also the concept behind the figure. OK another Atomic themed figure...

    However...
Floppy long mouth and garamon colors remind me too much of Bemons.
Weak designed arm joints when viewed from the back.

Looks like the same one in each pic (toy not girl)... probably the photographers.

The articulated elbows make this figure for me. I like the pic where it's got it's hands on it's head.

I showed my little nephew the first picture and asked what he thought of these.

"They look like they have big lips and got dumped by garbage. And that guy he got his heart ripped out."

(just bored chilling at my mom's house  )

    Re the figure:

This thing is punk, and indie, as fuck ...
made almost entirely with the blood, sweat & tears of one person.
If you look closely, you can see the teethmarks!
Velocitron was almost spot on with his translation of the Header.
    Bouryoku (pr. "Bo-oo-ryo-ku") Genjin
means "Primitive Violence Man", in the maker's own words.

    And who is he?
Well, what gives us the right to know that?
"Shy" is not a word I'd use to describe him myself,
but neither does he crave your attention.
I don't believe Mori-san entirely relishes the kind of worship he's received.
All he wants is for you to like his toys, and Nag Nag Nag feels the same.

"Give a man a mask, and he will tell you the truth." (Oscar Wilde)

The writing on the feet is a joke. A black joke.
And it's the nature of black humor that some people are going to be offended.
That's part of the reason why it's funny.
Suffice to say, he doesn't really hate you
and, like all artistic statements, in large part it's up to you
what, & how much you read into it.

Like mondo, I too thought the Aug. 6th picture leak was just a coincidence -
    didn't even notice at first.
But then the release came on August 15th, the anniversary of the day the Pacific War officially ended.
    Go figure, I guess.
Though mightn't it also be a jab at those American toy collectors paying top dollar for the latest fads,
thereby robbing Japanese fans of the possibility of owning them?
    (FYI, that's MY interpretation, okay?)

However, to the person who wrote that the attack on Pearl Harbor was "unprovoked" -
Sorry, but History (as well as always being written by the victors) is never that simple.
    See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pacific_War (...please).

Whatever, another significant date at the end of the war was September 2nd -
the day the 'Instrument Of Surrender' was signed aboard the USS Missouri in Tokyo Bay.

    Oh wait ... That's next week, isn't it? ;)

The writing on the feet reminds me of the same cheap pandering efforts Kozik has used to TRY to make something seem punk (smoking, hate, nazis, anarchy, etc.). That very effort makes it not punk.

That said, the figure has some appeal. I kind of like the crunchy look. Would like to see one in person.

    Re: Got paranoia?

Alice I probably should have worded that differently. I was trying to express that it seems like a lot of people grab toys in Japan just to make a buck. That makes obtaining a figure a lot more difficult for both Japanese and American collectors. Form what I have seen recently on YJA I'm not sure it's just American collectors spending the crazy cash on stuff. It seems to me that you have created some stereotype that all American collectors most fall into.

    Re: Got paranoia?

I'm not sure, but I've heard, that something like 80% of some of your favorite makers product
(in one company's case I believe it's close to 100%)
    is headed Stateside these days.
Add to that my own observations of how the makers choices of subject/vinyl/color
    have changed recently,
and the fact that this sculpt has (perhaps surprisingly) pissed off a few people here in Japan
and MAYBE you can see where I'm coming from?
Like I said though, it's just MY interpretation,
    and it's highly subjective.

Also, I said "those" (= some) American collectors who spend big bucks -
Most of them are not actually - as far as we know - here on this board.
(Though there are others who come over here regularly and clear the shelves of Mandarake
    of anything worthwhile -
    - the Robbing Hoods of kaiju.)

Hi Alice. Have you commented on these changes elsewhere here on the board? If not, would you care to elaborate? Very interested to hear your thoughts about that.
