Sorry Mikee, as you well know, and have been told on numerous occasions, the Super Secret Points Club is secret, and how points are distributed is equally so. Like CIBOTL or the AA mailer, you are either in the know, or you're not; and I think we all know which case it is. When you swore your blood oath and went through that 11 hour initiation ceremony, you agreed to all of this nebulousness. I'll put in a good word for you, maybe, just because I am bored and this lockdown has me not thinking straight, but I can't promise anything.
Interestingly, John actually returned to the board recently for a quick pop in, and brought a little nostalgia on the topic.
I like that this is yet another SB thread that is not going to ever be on topic. I am for this. That said feel free to chime in if you are new and want to feel out of place talking about stuff from years and years ago
Hiya. What’s the secret internet handshake? I know it involved getting Daveblog to unclog my inept sign up. Thank the vinyl lords. Seriously. Speaking of.. and I hope I’m not offending anyone sensibilities by trampling on some Unspoken ( or unread by myself) rules... A friend of mine has been trying unsuccessfully to join for the last year. He might have been the one that whispered the name Skullbrain one dark evening in an empty alley. Anyways he’s been doing creepy creature design for years as well as Kaiju inspired synth records. He’s got an impressive display of mutants, monsters and weirdo vinyl. To boot he’s a nice guy. His name is Chris Pottinger and I think the handle he created is grosspustule. Here’s the artwork he did for his most recent LP. Just to give you all a taste of his beautifully sick mind.

Oh god. Manimal... I forgot about that guy completely. I forget what his deal was, but you couldn’t “fade” him or something, right?
