I actually saw that this morning, it was a terrible follow up to the Doraemon "Lottery" last week.
Unfortunately I don't have a screencap of it, but it was FUGLY~!

As an additional note keep in mind that these toys are produced by the same guy bootlegging MVH, HXS, Nag, etc. However, not everyone may be aware of this. Angel Abby carries some very reputable artists, so I don't think they would want to be seen associating with the artist if they knew he was also a bootlegger. Perhaps, someone may have told AA that it was a bootlegger and they may have told this guy they didn't want to associate with him further and delete the sales post.

Edit: wanted to add, he is asking $300 for this piece of crap toy! What happened to "say NO to high prices "

I got to check out the new Baltan fig at Dcon. I think it's pretty nice. I like the proportions.

 

I have no doubts that AA are fully aware that this Samson toy is produced by the bootlegger guy. How could they not when they are so in deep with the sofubi scene?

I'm sure everything will be business as usual, turning a blind eye to any shady business.. unless calling this guy out severely affects sales then we will see the profuse apologies and self-proclaimed statements of their virtues

 

Yeah this would have definitely fucked up those chumps at AA’s status had they stuck to their guns and you know what, I reckon it still should! What reputable name would honestly want to be in cahoots with these enablers? Sigh.

 

The kicker is this dude was at Hirota's show. I wonder if he bought anything to bootleg it directly?

 

I came for my ugly sofubi fix and gotta say this one isn't really doing it for me. Needs more paint, maybe.

Sculpt looks sloppy, Astro Boy homages mostly suck

 

Yeah, I agree on both counts, I just don't see anything strikingly ugly about it... Seen some pretty terrible Astro Boy colour schemes and this seems pretty tame.

 

That Astro Boy homage sculpt thing doesn’t even look that far off from the one Hirota released. I personally think they’re both terrible, but that paint app is +1 atrocious.
