I cannot express enough how much fun I had at Five Points. To the point that I caught myself being what felt was obnoxious. So many good people, conversations, laughs, hugs, jokes, first impressions, rekindling, and of course, the toys. I’d honestly have to say this Five Points bested last year’s DCon for me. And New York is a phenomenally giving state. So happy to see so many of you.

 

Were you trying for one of the new guardians by Klim? If so, they said that any leftovers would be for sale on their website.

 

Had a blast at Five Points! I immediately regretted not going in on the VIP pass. I was fifth in the general admission line on Saturday, but by the time I beelined to the Sunguts booth the basking shark had already sold out (was lucky enough to nab the last frilled shark he had though.)

Was super thrilled to finally meet a lot of my favorite artists this year.

 

Five points was my first toy con, as both exhibitor and fan. Had a BLAST! It was fun and stressful and satisfying all at once. Did shockingly good sales as did my boothmathes Phobia Toys and Uhhsure Monsters. Met a bunch of heroes that were cool as hell and very graciously gave me a good chunk of their time. Met a ton of internet friends that I feel like I can consider real world friends now too. Missed out on a lot of meets and a lot of buys but I am so so grateful for everything I was able to experience. Also got my first DX
PS: being within 6 feet of Hariken makes the whole world feel magical

 

Following swiftly on the heels of my last post in this thread, here are my come ups from the fest. I genuinely went into knowing I’d be at Five Points with pretty much exclusively hitting heavily on Splurrt and Headlock Studio, and I stuck to my guns. With the exception of two figures from Headlock, and one from Splurrt(gotta be slightly less irresponsible than I already was) I was able to come away with every major want I had my eyes on. Couldn’t be happier.

It was great seeing everyone. Made some new friends which is always great and caught up with some old friends in the best ways. So just thank you’a all around to the kewl people that share this hobby. Also thanks to everyone who picked up a Sata Fighter. I can’t say enough how happy I am to have been able to create something like that with Joe. Such a great feeling.

I feel like I needed a week to decompress. Five Points was amazing. I'm definitely going to need a 2-day pass next year because there is just too much to absorb and wayyy too many awesome people to talk to in just one day.

 

Those wild hunt's look great. Lots of good stuff coming out of 5 points. Hopefully it continues to grow.

 

I too hope it continues to grow.
Then again, I got so much at basically three booths, that I don't know how much more I can handle!
This is a combination of my gf and I's picks, and I think we both got everything we wanted.
She set up and took the shot right after we got home on the Sunday.



Always great to see everyone, and I had a fantastic weekend.
And the surprise PKDS show the following week was just such a nice bonus.

I feel like things just haven’t been going well this past year. Which is one of the many reasons I was so pumped to take a lil road trip and kinda get away from everyday life for a minute. 5P was a blast. I only went one day, so naturally there were whole tables I completely missed. Like srsly entire groups of people I just totally missed. It was pretty much endless chaos from the second I set foot in line to the point everyone was yelling at me to go buy my beautiful fiancé some got dam pizza (good call Chuck it was delicious!). I was very fortunate to obtain so many gr8 toys. Aside from what is pictured I also scored a whole grip of toys from Joe and Michael (which I haven’t had a chance to take pix of yet), as well as a couple other bits/bobs. Hope everyone has a lovely weekend, and thanks for reading.

I’m hopin’ to make it again this year, and be able to take my time a bit more in the city. Always lookin’ forward to the East Coast homies and seein’ my side of the country travel over, as well.
