Not every kumon that was ever released but close! Hands down absolute obsession and love for this guy. Can’t wait for 2.0

 

Totally. I've managed to collect 8 of them over the years, most in the early days admittedly, and i count myself very lucky. I can't see myself ever selling them. I've got a pleasing mix of colourways which I'm happy with. The only thing missing is one of the mixed-pour unpainted marble releases from a while back. I'd love a nice example of one of those, it would add some variety to my little group.

Kumon is one of those sculpts that slowly built a following with no help from hype or flippers. It was not an instant overnight success, but slowly and surely gained popularity.

Its been interesting seeing it rise.

 

I think that your small group (as you call it) of Kumons has some of the best specimens or I could say that you have some of my favorites. Even I remember your photos on Flickr I used to see them several times in the week, it was one of my biggest influences to collect these spiders.

 

It has been a site to see and I so happy that Dennis is getting the following he deserves. If one thing I have learned in the hobby is that the maker straight up always reflects the toy. Both in this case are top shelf. Kumon got me its a lot of things besides my favorite sculpt. It’s timeless it reflects my worst fear and my largest curiosity. The colors that are seemingly endless and the simplicity around them are what I love the most. And then you have one of the nicest guys in the game hand pouring and creating beautiful marble blends and techniques. All around IMO greatest.

I could never sell any of mine. I have had a lot of different versions come through my collection and with trading them for other versions from time to time it has helped me build my web to an unthinkable masterpiece. And I can’t get enough. Haha
