The fugliest toys you have seen while collecting.

I am going to the dildo store today. I am going to buy all the dildos and glue and form them into some crazy shit. Then I am going to sell copies of said shit to everyone and have all the monies. I know how this works. Hedildozaurus.

 

Reminded me of my late artist friend who committed suicide a few years back...
He was into collecting really crazy underground shit (You name it he had it) and had this rare Czechoslovakian underground art mag that was a catalog full of mutant dildos with eyes and legs and stuff. Page after page just loaded with different ones. Ahead of it's time with really crazy sculpts.
I remember seeing that, then Dehara's Menta Kun came out not soon after which was a weird memory, but really inspired me to make toys actually.

It's not even remotely moony, just a reference to other toys that were a reference to Méliès. FFS...

 

Yeah, it's like they took out 50% Garamon, but the forgot to put the 50% moon in to replace it.

 

Definitely the most suiting toy for this post in recent weeks. This one would actually be better with some cock and balls - ha

Perhaps it’s my lack of extensive knowledge, which in turn, could be a lack of appreciation, but I actually like this Gamma. The paint style is pretty meh, but I like the rotund, chubby body and the expression in the face. The uncultured swine in me simply sees the obvious Méliès x Garamon rip, albeit badly, but that’s the appeal for me, personally.

 

Was scrolling through the sofubi tag on instagram today and this thought kept popping into my head... "So when did McFarlane Toys start getting involved with sofubi??????"

I agree. It's all 3d rendered. Make a resin or PVC statue not sofubi.

 

I'm sorry but the tower-head is just kind of amazing. The rest is just eye-noise to me, but that one actually made me laugh. It's got character.

 

I will say most of those aren’t for me but I like the Doomkopf quite a bit it’s a fun little toy

 

Shot I sold these unpainted for a reasonable price ages ago... damn me for not waiting!!!

 

Almost all the checkboxes for lazy Sofubi checked off in one toy! Just needs another head and a spiked flail.

You know what though I was looking through softoyhobbys site and I like a lot of what’s on there. Just not the copycat hypebeast toyflip nonsense. So... not as bad as I’d imagined!

 

^There's good new stuff coming out somewhat frequently, I'm just too entrenched in the lines I already collect. Gotta plug those rabbit holes before you fall in.

 

I kind of dig the tower head thing, I’ve seen it on IG, has a different face on the other side. Looks like something out a ADnD quest.
