    Ooof some nice stuff there^^^

Man every time I tell myself: "you survived your whole life without Facebook don't give in and sign up- protect your privacy" I see another FB group I could be on. It happens in every niche hobby pot I've got cooking on my stove.

@Lixx - Although the niche groups are interesting, it's frustrating to try and tune out all the useless noise. Also:

    Privacy???

The CIA has a record of EVERYTHING YOU HAVE EVER TYPED ON AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE...EVER. There is no such thing as privacy.

Don't not join facebook because of privacy concerns. Don't join facebook because it's a steaming pile of human fuckery and an utter waste of your time. I *literally* only look at groups on facebook and unilaterally ignore "friend requests", my feed/wall/whatever, and pretty much anything else not explicitly devoted to toys and comic books.

@scobot @Alebrije @deafmetal LOL yes you've made it clear what a horrible idea FB is to me! Thank you.

@Sanjeev thank you as well. Yeah I know the CIA knows everything I type- I've been reading about what they and NSA have been doing for years. But I like to think Facebook makes it that much easier to get a sense of a individual and I like to make it random and difficult for them. Besides people have told me they do searches on me and the only thing that comes up is really this place and linkedin (and even then you need to weed through the Chris Ibsen profiles), so I'm pretty under the radar. That's one side of the debate for me.

The only other reason I debate this FB thing is I get asked to join groups often on there and sometimes I feel really isolated/lonely here in PA. Seems like FB might help fill that connection to friends who are insistent on using it etc.

Jordan and I started that group a few years back on facebook (Japanese vintage vinyl). He and I are the two admins. As far as I know its the only one like it, just dedicated to vintage. Honestly though, this format is much better for reference and organization. I refer back to threads that are 7-8 years old regularly on here. You cant do that on facebook. Really the only good thing about it is its easy to use.

One upside yall have is that Facebook can store images, @XVivaHateX . The older threads here are littered with empty image boxes (ha, or whatever the appropriate terminology is). It drives me nuts. I don't use Facebook, but I can certainly see the positive in that regard... Can you imagine if SB Could host images? There'd be a lot less Instagram migration I bet.

Back on topic - whether Jean's on here or not, @deafmetal , Thanks for sharing those images with us! There sure are a lot of treasures to drool over. I have to admit, when I saw them, I was hoping they were going to be linked to a sale somewhere (ha, still disappointed they're not). But my favorite has to be the missile firing Mechagojis, especially the bottom one and the state he's in! I'm glad to see a pic of his reverse side too, which seems to show zero paint wear. His packaging is also in pretty good shape, with all shown artwork still clear and colorful,.. and I just noticed the plastic window is still intact and even appears to be creaseless. Dang, that is one excellent piece to be had. You're a lucky dude wherever you are, Jean.

@boon velvet - It would be ideal if board members stayed active and repaired their broken image links once a popular image hosting site bites the dust. I am not looking forward to flickr or imgur disappearing some day, as it's going to hurt a lot of boards like this one.

That said, I'm glad you enjoyed all those photos I posted. I find the collection to be amazing, but I'm a Toho kaijū addict until the end. I have looked at many of those toys in standalone photos, but it's something special to see all the variants lined up like that. I have to admit being really smitten by all the Hawaiian spray versions, and I could easily see myself spending the rest of my life trying to put together a full Hawaiian set of the Toho figures. Makes me happy just thinking about it. Also, the green/gray vinyl Bullmark Giant Gojira is an incredible piece, which is another one on my dream list. I can't even believe how great those two missile-firing MechaG's look with the original boxes. So inspiring.

I have not posted anything interesting on here for quite some time for a number of reasons. Phuckbucket's decision to ransom all my links didn't help things at all. However, recent drama has reminded me why I like this place and motivated me to do something about it. This is a place where I can share my love of collecting Japanese soft vinyl toys with like-minded souls. So, I thought I would invite you to see my collection. Forgive the dust, crappy photos and the occasional new toy. Enjoy looking at pictures of the toys we all appreciate.

When people come over, this is the first part of my collection that they encounter. Everyone says, "Wow! You have a huge collection." Little do they know...little do they know.

    Bullmark giants!
    Marusan crystals!
    Bootleg Godzillas!
...and that's a complete Bullmark panorama set!

Also, that set of triple Missile-firin' MechaG's is just godlike. So amazing seeing all three of those together like that. So many awesome toys to look at... thank you for posting the photos, very inspiring.

So glad you posted this, Mark. I have been looking for this photo for ages. I remember seeing this (or maybe a similar one you took) when I first joined the board many years ago, and it stuck with me all this time. I could not relocate it in all the years since. Still as good as I remember it!

So much eye candy on those shelves!

The overall display is incredibly appealing and the closer I look the more gems I see. I love minya chilling on goji’s tail, the mothra larvae, the blow molds, minis, the mechas, panoramas....etc. pretty intense!

All of your toys look to be in incredible condition as well. You should be extremely proud of what you have, I’m sure you are.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I plan on finishing the tour in the future so stay tuned for more toy-gazing fun.
@Kingboy D it's a new photo. The overall shot looks kind-of the same but the contents have changed many times over the years.
@Lixx I've got way too many new toys "around the corner" but the Marusan first version Gamera, Barugon and Gappa and the standard Guiron are all repros. I always intended to chase down the originals one day and now they priced out of my league.
@deafmetal I enjoyed hunting the Panoramic set. It took quite a few years. Good luck in your quest!
@Sanjeev The Mysterians poster is one of my favs also. It came with a great story and the tag-line, IMO, is only second to Mothra's:

I would "like" a million times if I could! Wonderful to see your collection to date, and of course so many drool-worthy toys. Special thanks for posting the finger puppet collection! They are so cute, I could eat them . Absolutely LOVE the original display box and the bagged FP's! Cisco Booska, come to me! Just a super spiffy toy room, and the paper posters add a great "feeling" to the collection too!:mrgreen::mrgreen:
