Getting more and more excited by the day. Looks like Bwana and CB alone will make it worth the price of admission.
Looking forward to the con for sure! Please, don't be a stranger at the con, I love seeing old faces but also making new friends!
Looking for help with a non-hype release at @animator ’s booth TF04 on Friday. Please message me if you can help!
Here we are. I’m getting super excited. Between the great toys I can’t afford but want to see, the ones that aren’t for sales but looks great and the ones I do hope I’ll get a chance to grab, I think I’ll be plenty busy. Hope to meet some of you guys in person!
If someone gets the chance to stop by the Mondo table, could you please tell us how big James Groman's Man-Thing is?
Sounds like it’s the size of all the other big things he does. I’ll stop by, i want to see his Cthulhu figure and make sure to post pics.
I tried a picture of the original with other Mondo creation for scale… And the Cthulhu while I’m at it.
I guess if there’s someone who deserves to get his bag in the current climate it’s James. But those prices are stupid. I wonder if mondo will reign him in on the man things.
James told me he is in conversation with Mondo to produce more Cthulhu. They will then be sold at a Mondo price. He was straightforward (as I think he is always) about telling me the ones he had were his own factory proofs and the first times they were sold on US soil and that is why he put up the prices he did. I’m happy for him he can do that and sell out, and a little sour that it means I couldn’t put my hand on one of those guys.
This turned into a really great convention! Got to see a lot of ppl and artist I haven't seen since 2019s version. Hoping the next year's will be even bigger! I'm back home now. I'll follow up with some neat toy picks later on.
