No problemo mate, my pleasure. I'd only seen it online very recently myself. What I've never seen before is the (what looks like) flying hedorah, bottom left page 8. Or is he swimming? Looks like an unpainted test pull or something . . . .
^ I noticed that fella too! The Gezora he is paired along with is also a different sculpt from the one that was released in the trio set. I have no idea if this set was every released, as I have neither seen either appear in the wild, but assume it was considering the release info here, as well as the rarer yokai sets which have barely ever popped up. I am going to have to do some digging on the interwebs.
Bit of an unusual one, unpainted GID mini set. I would assume this was sold at a festival or something. Its always nice to add to the glow . . .
Yeah, I'd bet that you are right. Lovely score Moog. Though I prefer the painted up versions of these fellas, the blank set is pretty stunning itself, and reunited as a family you've got the best of both! Lovely glowers too.
Not sure why no one has posted this, if they did I am sorry did not see....... Felt it sorta needed to be mentioned that this amazing Jumbo Size Bear Model x Dragonboy Daburasu M2 doll is being offered thru CKA: Cosmo Night α Limited Metallic Color Ver. Not a lottery, already asked.. only a few more days to order tho so act fast or buy a box of tissues! http://www.sofvi.com/longneck/1768/ Clearly Mr. Yoda mentions in the notes that offer accepts International shipping too- not often the case. Gets my vote for Toy of the Year all the way around.
Wonder if other exclusives will pop up? An alternate reality of a Super 7 version clear orange? I like both but the CKA colorway is more to my liking, while I could see many others going for the purple doll since it seems closer to the tones often more associated with Go Nagai. At first I thought the price of around $350 was too much but it is around 22 inches tall. Plus what amazing package design : Wish they could offer T-shirts of that artwork!
They should give away free prints of that together with each purchase. That packaging is def a refreshing take on sofubi though I guess they're not not the first to put toys in boxes.
