Why was Sasha shooting up all those framed pictures? It wasn't their fault her brother got bit.

Carol's interaction with that kid was my favorite part. Can't help but think that piece of chocolate she took is going to inadvertently bring attention to the missing guns.

I really thought she was going to kill the kid. and that kid did a great job.

Was I the only one that felt weird with Rick hitting on the married lady? Looking forward to this next episode

Rick is the new Shane in pretty much every single way.

I actually got kicked off a WD forum for liking Shane's character and defending his actions. I've always said besides that poorly written hang up they gave him about lusting after Lori he seemed like the most sensible and capable guy. I mean really if you were in this group since Atlanta with all the wrong moves Rick made, would you stick around?

Now so many people are on forums going "Oh Rick's a bastard for lusting after that guys wife!" Please you can't have it both ways.

I just love how much he is playing the "single dad with a baby" card.

Is no one surprised that Rick is losing his shit over the hairdresser? Just seems like really bad timing. Also, with a season finale coming up what is everyones thoughts on what "main" character we are going to lose? My pick...Glenn.

no way not Glen... he's one of the super favorites- i'm guessing its mullet or the red head but as for main characters... it will be Carol- kid will shoot her   . I'm still hoping Morgan makes his way into this group before it all goes to hell.

Morgan will arrive^^^ Did you see when Rick was patrolling, giving Jessie the eye at the end of last episode? The street sign name behind him said Morgan.

Morgan's coming, but so too their incarnation of Negan or whoever is leader of the Wolves?!

I've been waiting for Negan too. Remember when Glenn picked up the baseball bat out of the case when they went to Noah's old neighborhood. Gave it a long hard look...foreshadowing. I'm telling you I got a bad feeling about this finale.

If they kill Glenn I hope to god they take Maggie with him. I'd be very happy to see Abraham and his crew get more screen time, so hopefully at least most of them make it.

I liked Shane too. Yeah he did some messed up things but he made a choice and stuck with it. Picked his people over anyone and anything else even if the choices he made haunted him. Hard to fault him for that. Rick wanted to be the hero and please everyone no matter the cost. Now finally he really is Shane but how many people had to die to get him to that point?

I think in that type of world if I were all alone I would try to be the good guy no matter what.

If I had people I truly loved who were counting on me for their survival I would do what I had to do to protect them.

Ahh finally someone else that liked Shane!

Shane was ultimately a good guy, but to move the plot along and solidify Rick's leadership (and show him making tough choices) the writers wrote Shane rather ridiculous towards the end. That whole last episode showing him become completely unhinged just from Lori admitting she messed him up and that elaborate plot to get Rick alone was bad. In real life it would have never went down like that I think. More likely he would have left with some people who thought Shane was making better decisions. And all that flashback stuff showing how much Shane cared about Rick seemed pointless. Dale moving the plot along on a hunch he killed Otis, dumb. No way that would have ever been established or known. Basically none of it added up but made for good serial drama fodder.

I think Bernthal was a very dynamic actor (compared to some of the wooden performances by others still alive). I think that's the part I miss the most. He dominated every scene he was in. Kept my interest and his dialogue was almost what every fan of the show wanted to say to Rick with some of his decisions at the time. Now when certain characters start moaning I just tune out till I hear an attack of some sort (or fast forward lol).

I agree with all of that. I think it made sense when the writing was showing from Shane's perspective that he honestly believed Rick was going to get more people killed. It seemed like they stopped doing that a couple episodes before they killed him just so people wouldn't be so torn about it or something?

Back at the farm even the idea of staying when they weren't wanted like Shane suggested was something Rick couldn't even fathom and now he is planning on taking the town he's in for himself and his friends if things don't work out. Not to mention taking some guy's wife.

Shane just evolved faster then Rick and became what he needed to be to survive and keep people safe so much faster.

He was killed off in the first few issues of the comic. Granted the show doesn't follow the comics at all.

Lately this has been the best episodes in a row since the show started. It's so odd to have things actually happening instead of just being foreshadowed constantly.

I actually felt bad about the death tonight.

Yeah me too. They did a good job of actually making it surprising with the earlier scene in which it seemed like he was starting an architecture mentorship, besides the fact it was quite brutal. It reminded me of the head crushing scene in Friday the 13th 7.

Really enjoyed tonight's episode. The architecture intership program was awesome. What a great setup. Love the way the Alexandria crew handles adversity, puss out and run. Sounds like they need protection...I fear the Wolves are at the gate!

Good episode! I agree they've been much better lately. Noah's:
Death was the best death scene of the entire series. Gruesome way to go. Not sure why Glenn went back to that whole "it's who we are saving people" ideal when catching up with that rat faced Nick guy. He should have left him or better yet put a bullet in his leg an left him

    And:
Rather knee jerk with Carol on Rick is going to have to kill Pete don't you think? That's 0-60 in 1.5 seconds. I'm guessing it will go that way though.

    And:
WTF?! Gabriel! What a little shit. They should have left him to die in that church back in Georgia. Of course Deanna will completely do a 360 and think Rick & Co. are bad, even though evidence points to the contrary!

Finally what was Aiden saying to Glenn about being scared and the others weren't? Was it a reference to the people they exiled? Rat face Nick then chimed in Aiden (or they) left a girl behind. what's that all about?
