Well.... Spoiler If I was Tyreese I would have smashed that guitar into the wall! At least he got to say his trademark line one more time "Nobody has to die today". I found the choices of ghosts to show up bizarre. You think Karen or Allen might have shown up? But Beth? For what it's worth, despite being a bad guy Martin still makes the most sense in his logic even as a ghost Overall I never had any qualms with Chad Coleman's portrayal of Tyreese. He did commit the biggest WD faux pas though. How do you know a zombie is in the next room and could get out at any moment now that it senses food around, and stop to check out pictures of kids instead of taking care of business?
the group is going to have to make a very tough decision... Spoiler who gets to wear the baby harness now that Tyreese is out?!
Oh anyone else notice the voice on the radio doing the news broadcasts was Andrew Lincoln? I guess it was obvious, I just found it funny. Also Glenn picks up a baseball bat? Foreshadowing...
One annoying trend in this show among many (namely giving Greg Nicotero anything to do besides make up) is they constantly have to mention the episode title over an over through the dialogue. Then that's usually followed by a character catch phrase (i.e Tyreese -"Ain't nobody gotta die today!") That's just piss poor writing. Although when taking a analytical chem test today I uttered that one (Ain't nobody gotta die today!) to my classmate who was equally perplexed with impending doom. Anyone else here watch "Black Sails"? I loved season 1, and season 2 is still good. I have low expectations and it's pirates. What is there not to love?
I enjoyed season 1 of Black Sails, "This requires an answer!" & "He's a thief" became popular catch phrases around the office. Have not started watching season 2.
Yes, please do not let Greg direct anymore episodes! Worst episode of the season (so far). It also drove me crazy as Greg kept referring to the episode as a Terrence Malick movie (on the Talking Dead)...
This episode was 100% shit. It was boring, boring, boring and kept repeating itself. I honestly wish I hadn't wasted my time watching it.
i started to cringe fairly early in the episode, the singing made it worse and then the ghosts totally ruined it. Worst episode in a long time. What a difference between that bollocks and the above-average season premier!
This shows writers should be banned from having apparitions or visions of passed characters. In general I consider it cliched lazy writing that is almost never effectively used despite being incredibly common, but TWD really manages to take it to a new level every time. I was just finally kinda liking the show again after the first half of the season's arc, but between the midseason finale and that pile of shit of an episode I am back to hating.
Will it ever end????? Totally agreed. Thought we might be getting a good one to get things rolling after the break. Instead we get a bunch of needless cameos and one (hopefully) last song from Beth. Oh well, they can't all be winners. So which Wire vet will be joining the ranks now? Wouldn't be opposed to seeing McNulty join Rick and co. for a season or 2...
Greg Nicotero is so fucking full of himself. I can't stand to listen to him talk, makes me see red and want to punch his massive balding head. He basically is good at makeup and hit the lottery being hired by Darabont for this show, and has parlayed that into holding AMC hostage and letting him direct. It seemed novel at first, but now he has displaced actual competent people like Ernest Dickerson for premieres, finales, and mid season stuff. Where as a few seasons back they'd throw him a filler episode or two now he has full on say and is picking the better slots . Fuck this season he gets the premiere, finale, midseason return, and another episode (12). WTF? Totally not worthy of directing those. Par for the course of this show I guess. I'm sure the guitar playing moronic singing ghost of Beth will appear to Maggie at least in 3 more episodes! I'll just develop a drinking game based on it where I consume 5 drinks at once every time it happens. Well McNutty is British so I say he has a good chance of joining!
Not really a spoiler so I'll say this: Wow talk about the boring dead! Rick's speech didn't even have a point or make sense?! Then Daryl strolls in and says "we're not" and Rick's like "Ok we're not. If you haven't watched or have it recorded save yourself 42 minutes and just watch the last minute.
I hope they continue the theme of more hallucinations & dream sequences this season. I am looking forward to Rick cutting a zombie's head off & then the face cracks... revealing Rick's own face underneath!
Such a nothing episode. There have been a few pointless episodes throughout the years but this one beats them all by a mile.
Completely agreed. Another waste of an episode and right on the heels of last week's snoozefest to boot. Starting to feel like S2 all over again. Really hope things pick up ASAP... quickly losing interest in the show
