I think you definitely have a point. You can tell who is just following the market to a great extent now. Like "Ohhhh, you're trying to knock off gargamel vehicles" and "you are jocking on shig so bad you better make him wear protection"

We could literally start an entirely new gameshow thread called "Guess who this guy is ripping off"

I think the LukeSmellsGood toys are always kind of funny. I’d never buy them but they are intentionally stupid and make me chuckle in the same way a better Sucklord toy does.

Lukesmellsgood isn't everyones cup of tea I can see that but its nice to see nonsense vulgarity without the cover of monster gore death. Sometimes a cat made of tits or the riders of the zodiac with a stiffy is good for a chuckle. His new keshi two headed ogre is pretty fun as well!

 

Some days, I feel bad for posting in this thread. “I’ve never made a toy, so what right do I have to tear down somebody else’s work?”, I’ll think to myself. Sometimes the creator comes to this thread, and it makes me feel real bad.



Other days, I find a “Here’s Johnny”, Hannibal Lecter, Chainsaw-Massacre, Mickey Mouse, Chucky Cheese. And I mean, people work hard to get their toys shared here, right? Some people really dig this goofy stuff.

Yikes. Looking through that Brand's page now, it looks like their whole philosophy is to throw the whole kitchen sink at every one of their sculpts. Truly ugly toys. Who buys this stuff?

3d printing has been super beneficial for a lot of artists and there are GREAT examples of it out there but stuff like this bothers me. This just screams low effort and uninspired to me.
