I think it is hilarious, but I could never see myself buying this I guess they see an overlap between Trump haters and toy collectors. Can't see any Trump fans buying this toy
I was skeptical about this thing too, but I had Amazon credit to burn and figured eh, what the hell. Once I got it in hand I appreciated how much fun this thing is as well as the work put into the sculpt. The "action feature" is pretty novel for a sofubi, and you can see how the designer leveraged the subject's unique hair to work with it. If anyone wants to try out a sofubi toy that's a little different, they should definitely grab one of the few that are left on eBay or Amazon, but I totally understand not wanting any representation of Grampa Cheeto (or Schmuck a l'Orange, President Two Scoops, etc.) in your home.
oh man been looking for this one, gonna snag one before its all gone. I think the facial expressions are pretty hilarious, would make for a great companion to the putin figure that im still hunting down as well haha
I don't see the appeal of having your sofubi collection reminding you of political bullshit, but the sculpt seems well done.
Godzilla is pretty far removed at this point, but to be fair, the OG nuclear lizard himself started off as a political statement.
Got one of the these from amazon like Roger and don't regret it. It's definitely a fun figure with great expressions and is a pretty good size. It fits in with my redhotstyle trumps and wanderlustoys putin. They all remind me of what a joke that dickhole is. I see them as a reminder that there are plenty of people that can't stand our shit stain pres and that there is a market for toys making fun of him. I look at my collection and laugh thinking about what a tantrum that fucking baby would have looking at them too And it doesn't hurt that it pisses my in laws off!

I don't get this toy. As much as the facial expressions are ugly, this is a rather pretty toy, the sculpt is really great. As a trump hater I don't understand the appeal of having a nice looking representation of him in my collection. I'm just bitter that all you guys make it sound like such a fun toy, I wish I could get in on it.
