I don't often follow this thread but think that it's pretty cool to bag up an uncut toy with a header. That's a ton of dedication. Dennis is a good human.
My inner geek is super excited to see the "instruction sheet" that comes with the uncut version. I wonder if it will have little kumon diagram sketches.
This makes it so randomly IG will tell me somebody posted, but not necessarily people I am waiting for. FB had turned IG into 90% garbage by making the timeline a random mess and also not allowing third-party hooks anymore. I used to use IFTTT to message me when particular IG users posted. This was amazing for getting toys that were announced including the gloss-black Otus by Owl and a King Negora from Max Toy in the past. No more though.
View this post on Instagram I received a package today with a new Kumon and also scored an extra set of arms for my Kumon with 2 left arms! The new one has tiny gold specks in it, I wonder if they're real?
Congrats good score, that spider looks great! Can you tell me the color? How did you get the extra pair of arms?
The color is kind of a brown, rusty color, with gold lame. The extra arms are from Dennis at Shirhama. I received the extra arms because I had a Kumon with two left arms. He sent the extra pair to make it correct but I think I like it with the two left arms, it looks like hes poppin and lockin..
@noeleaser Thanks for the information, it seems to me that two left arms give more personality to that Kumon and also with that pair of extra arms you can now create your own mixed parts Kumon.
Sometimes I get confused where to post kumon. I think we have two different threads going but here is one I don't think I've shared yet. Taste the rainbow.
@Beantime @xSuicide Squadx Thanks! It was just a dull skirting board (baseboard) in the background, so a quick bit of layer effect and layer masking in photoshop and job done. If you look at the top of the clouds you can see some of the wood texture showing through . . .
Officially holding in my hand my first Kumon!!!!!!! He arrived today. The swirl is one of the best I have seen by far. Its just gorgeous. I just couldn't be happier. AMAZING sculpt. It would be a true honor to aquire another, maybe painted, one.
I must track one of these down. I couldn't believe how my pink swirl glowed. Holly shit!! Its a night light! So bright. I couldn't be happier.
