    ^^^Definitely made my heart go pitter patter when he crawled on screen. I think that is only the second one that I spotted on JYA :shock:, and definitely a doozie of an ending too!

    @Lixx , here is an auction photo for the database, brown vinyl with metallic green. Many many thankies for starting and maintaining the database :D:razz:

    p.s. Really bummed that a lot of wonderful photos have disappeared here, being held hostage by the bucket :x. I miss seeing some of Ralph's photos of his collection, when butas were being newly birthed :(

    Does anyone know if there is a second version of Enmago and Zizou? I seem to remember seeing an orange version of this pair?

    "Hard to get" has become a relative term with buta nowadays! It's always hard now, just varies in degrees :(
    p.s. Fortunately, there are Buta Godfathers and Godmommies who occasionally grant some humdinger toy wishes come true!!! ;)

    Had one once, never was able to reclaim it. Buta toys always exhibit such subtle artistry, Mr. Oohashi always knows when enough is enough.

    I think, realistically, it is not a very realisable goal -- for the average person. The market, and diminishing returns on availability, combined with a dearth of pathways to even get new releases, has dried up most chances people have to collect Butanohana toys coming in as any kind of 'normal' collection. Sad to say.

    Hi don’t post much maybe this is a dumb question but do y’all think there’s any chance of getting my hands on of those gunboys (gundams) he did a while back. Would be my “grail” I guess

    They don't show up that often, so you may have to wait a while. The Gunboy seemed to have been the most popular of the 4 MS released in the original assortment.

    Anyone know where the extra pieces in each Toho mini set go? I'd guess they're extra neck pieces for MG and another toy, but not sure. I'll try them on that way later, will probably make the necks look long and goofy.

    What that fella said, but I don't think one report and a single investigation is sufficient; we have to consider operational bias as a major in this experiment. For sake of completeness, I suggest that these also then be passed along to a second analyst for direct handling and interpretation. I ave a fairly heavy schedule right now, but reluctantly offer my services for the sake of advancing sofubi knowledge. The sacrifices we make for science.

    Seconded.

    We probably can Grace, and I'll start thinking about this. Part of setting up the handy DB was the unified reference photos, so we would need to get some assists (ideally) from lucky owners of the new additions. Anyway, thanks for bringing this. We'll discuss how best to handle the updates to honour Chris' work here.
