    Lost.

Don't worry there's an innovator here with the theory that the more flippers compete with us in lotteries to get toys they don't want the easier it'll be to get these in the long run.

It sounds like pure idiocy to me though.

    1504 members on Skullbrain.
Say 504 are gone or never really returned after signing on.
Say another 100 are the regulars that you see up here on a daily basis.

That leaves only about 900 lurkers and flippers to compete with....

    Ah thanks!

It's beauty! I didn't even know it was going up. I check the site every day but obviously not very thoroughly!

Out of curiosity...why would it be harder to get? The blue one seems pretty easy to locate.

I'm glad I've got no heartache over this figure... the Mad baron is a great sculpt, but King Pepora really just makes no sense to me. Does Zollmen typically operate one sculpt at a time? Like, should we only expect more of this guy for a while, or do they seem to release whatever figure they want?

Seems like there is no rhyme or reason on their release schedule. When a new sculpt hits it usually gets 2-4 releases in the first few months. Then you might see an older one slipping in as an exclusive for a shop (i.e mandarake, ichi etc)

King Pepora doesn't do anything for me, but neither did Mad Baron and MG5 at first. I think it's too busy for me. I bet the people who love it would go nuts if they did some invisible pepora with see through guts though. Maybe a GID outer clear shell?

I really like the Green Pepora. The Blue was good too, but I like this one better.

No luck on the green, but that just means that I will have to wait for the camo version.

Why are you withholding information? Let information be free to all skullbrainers.
When in the camo one being released?

Please do it on KR along with your explanation of why KR posters should buy it to flip just as you promised.

Follow through with your threats directed at this community or they are just empty.

To claim you are doing SB a favour then threaten the community with the KR thing is pathetic beyond words whether you go through with it or not. Paper tiger?

Arguably you have "seen this attitude again" let's see your true colours.

I will not post any links on KR unless I am told by those in authority on this board not to post here. I guess I could post YJA auctions on KR if you like, especially juicy ones that we both are bidding on,

I admit... I was interested at first in the no-posting thing you brought up, but since that's been explained, now all you look like is a petty baby who's clearly forgot the reason we all post here: To buy and play with and look at toys.

Knock yourself out. Nothing you do or threaten surprises me.

They deleted your link and locked your first thread. A normal person would take that as confirmation that a mod didn't appreciate your thread and those posts are more appropriate to KR.

I can always drive up everything I see you bidding on just as you can do the same. Its np at all if you want to go that route. I'm no stranger to that although I focus on flippers.

    Re: Zollmen Database- updated 7/22/09

Since what has been explained: that it will attract flippers? That is the weakest argument that I have ever heard. Think about it: there is a limit imposed on foreign/US orders most likely. If not a quota, then a set number of toys. The more skullbrainers apply, then the more skullbrainers receive toys here as a percentage of the whole sold to others not on the board. Then, those who don't like the toy, for whatever reason, after receiving it, will most likely resell on the board, or trade on the board.

As a Zollmen collector, I know that after the lotteries, the only place generally to find Zollmen toys are from flippers in Japan on YJA. We can change that by having a greater number of toys come to board members by greater goard member participation. How best to achieve that: make it easy.

But, you missed the most important explanation why I posted the link yesterday: it was in an unusual place, and whereas most lotteries are announced, this one seemingly was not. I knew many of my collector friends on the board would miss it, as I almost did when I found it myself (I posted with less than 6 hours left to its close). And, from PMs that I received, I can tell you that I was right.

All of you who are critical of my action are just saying: don't post that, if I know about it, I want to keep it secret because these toys are so hard to get without spending an arm and a leg. I disagree with that notion, and believe we will have greater access to these toys if we have them in more boardmember hands. This can easily be differentiated from single item active auctions.

If you don't get that, tough. That is my stance.

Let's stop derailing the Zollmen thread.

To many its an issue of common courtesy not to expose lotteries they worked to find. You refuse to accept this, fine.

If you want to send threats back and forth let's take it to pms please.
