Cool . . . ordered a Kingyozaurus. Items will be produced after taking pre-orders (should be ready by mid July). I will let you know when your order is ready to be shipped by email. Please send the payment after you received an email from me. Does this mean you will not get a confirmation of your order? Ordered yesterday and I haven't had one yet. Please excuse me if this is a bit of a n00b question . . . i've never ordered direct from Yamomark before.
As I read it, it seems to be first-come first-served and not made to order. So everyone might not get one. It really depends on the production volume capacity. I guess the confirmations will come after the deadline (June 17th).
^ That sounds right. It did'nt say where to send your order so i just used the standard address: yamomark@triton.ocn.ne.jp I assume that was the right thing to do. Really hope i get lucky on this one!
^ I had the same questions as you, and haven't received a response either. I also used the same email address, so hopefully that's correct. It's amusing to read these web pages after the translation, but not entirely clear unfortunately. I'm hoping we get a request for payment a couple days after the pre-order date closes. I've never ordered direct from Japan either, and don't want to screw it up 'cause both of those pieces are awesome !
I figure that we will all get our responses closer to the cut-off date. Last time I got my Kingyosaur the reply was fast, but I believe that's because the item was already in hand and produced.
Grizlli happened to email him about goldfishzuarus off me, and he gave us a link to the order form.... I'm pretty sure as it was going up. And we are still waiting to hear. I'm very excited about this guy and been bugging the shit out of grizzli. As soon as I hear anything I'll post.... I'll be lurking around and keepin an eye out for snyone else doing the same
Excited to get my confirmation too, and even better, it looks like we'll have a month or so to set aside the money which is excellent news considering i'm a bit thin in the wallet at the moment. Both of these pieces are so great....glad I don't have to hunt them down later !
Given your location I would say you're wallet's more likely to be considerably thinner in a month or so's time!
So true Andy....but I have a seperate savings account just for the beast that is the SDCC. I got smart enough to do so after going one year with about $60 in my pocket.....what a depressing bummer of a con that was...
