picked up these cool little spacemen yesterday. Don't know who made them or ever seen them before. Has any one seen these before?? They are about 2 1/2 inches tall, and made of hard plastic like the old Marx figures.

Wow, those are really cool. They definitely capture that 'Heavy Metal' and early pulp sci-fi feel. There was that thread somewhere about the reissued similar figures too, but I can't seem to recall the name - was meaning to order a set.

^^ Sweet, those are them indeed. Great memory. :) Not as cool as the above examples I'll grant you, but an adequate substitute for something easily available.

Yeah, that's what I thought when I saw them, had that Flash Gordon flair to them.

They are plastic spacemen made by Archer in the 1950's .. some of them are very rare.

    Great Find !!

    Those look like reissues.

Agreed - The originals tended to be metallic colours and made of a very hard plastic.

Thanks for the info guy's. Yeah, they are solid colors, no metallic, so maybe re-issue. They feel just like Marx figures, but I picked up all 3 for $5.00, so I figured they were worth buying.

Wonderful find! These are Great. :D

Apparently cosmonaut green knows the ancient art of praying mantis style.

Colors denote re-issues. They also came with clear plastic helmets that could be removed as well as rifles/ray guns.

Cool, I hadn't heard of these before, but it does look like the versions put out by Glencoe in the 90s also reissued the metallic figures too. I don't mind newer ones at all for that price.
