If he's stuck at Wily, he must'a beat Metal Man I think I only ever beat 1 stage on MM1... but I never revisited that game after childhood, and spent much more time on MM2-MM5.
yea... i use up my sub tanks way to quick on the bosses before wily. (not the 8 regular bosses that i have to fight again. no problem there) i gotta learn the patterns. i got mega man X1-X3 completed. started to play X4 and i had totally forgotten the in-game megaman sfx. horrible, haha. Dayum, you are just Mega Man a-go-go! Yeah, you have to save your sub tanks or your gonna bite the big one. Were you fully powered up when you fought Sigma, I remember him being really hard when the game came out.
not sure which x game you are referring to, but yes... i made sure all of my subtanks are filled up before facing sigma. for the X3 sigma, i used the zero sword move (the one you get when you use zero against the boss in the first fortress, then gets squashed, and he gives you his sword move). two hits and sigma is done. the problem is timing it off of a jump from the top to hit his tiny head on the way down. took me a couple of tries
Sigma in Mega Man X 1, it's been a long time since I played it but I just remember him being a beast. Did you beat X4 yet? I remember that being the easiest in the X series.
only did the opening stage for x4 so far.... haven't had a good chunck of time to play since work started up again. maybe this weekend i'll finally beat mm2.

I just finished Bastion. Short and sweet, definitely worth the $15. The art-style and presentation alone make it worth the price, but the gameplay and story are also pretty good. If you get it on Steam I suggest you play with some kind of controller, they released a fix for keyboards but it still feels a little funny.
Thinking about signing up for X-Box live to get Bastion. I keep seeing all these X-Box Marketplace games I really want to play, might have to pull the trigger.
It's a really great game. If you have any doubts about it, I think you can download the demo with an XBL Silver (free) account. Super Giant has said that they don't have any plans to bring it to PSN right now, which is really a shame because it seems like they put a lot of work into it and it should reach as many people as possible.

Question to PS3 Owners: Wandered into a Gamestop when Nate was taking care of his pre-orders and I saw that some of my favorite old PSOne games are now a downloadable dlc for the system. Are they HD remakes? Been contemplating the PS3 since the price went down.
It's the PS1 games just brought over, they are the exact same. If you have a PSP you can play them on that. So basically it's 6 bucks for some classics (a lot of the Square games are 10.00)
galaga legions dx on ps3 . . . the gameplay is pretty nice if you like stuff like this . . . but it seems to be awfully short though - I just gave it a try and made it to world 9 of 9?! Also, there does not seem to be an arcade mode?!? I could select all worlds from the very beginning and there is no mode where you have to make it through all the worlds in one run?!?! Also, it is too easy, died only 4 times on normal mode and I am almost through. . . I wish there was a gradius for ps3 . . .
im counting down the days until gears of war 3... september 20th cant get here fast enough... sadly I am not too found of the PS3... I bought Gran Turismo for it, and wasnt that impressed... PS used to be my system of choice... but I just hot have fell in love with it. like I did PS1, and PS2... I use my PS3 to stream Netflix though lol.
my 360 is just gathering dust as its used only for gears anyways. I have pretty much became ps3 only .Just prefer the controller and the exclusives. Uncharted 3 is by far my most awaited game.
