Thanks, same to you on your piece. I went with the purple after checking out my Nagata customs and paintings and seeing which would fit in. Took me a while to decide. They're both excellent pieces. My first Space Trooper!
Very, very fucking nice. I especially dig Andy's, but the gun on the other has a nice little touch with the lightning bolt.
You're both quite lucky dudes! I'm just pleased I was able to score one of his Mizaru-1's at all! (Thanks to you-know-who-you-are!) I wonder if these were painted on the gid heads he originally put out...could these actually glow!? Anyway, love that busted helmet, too!
Mark has a good collection of vintage toy rayguns, so he is sensitive to adding a little extra to the troopers weapons.
I'll let you know. Rather than ship it, since he lives in San Francisco, I asked him to just bring it to Wondercon on Friday, 2/27, since I plan on spending all three days there. I'm betting he used a glow head, so I don't know if the paint will block it or not. I hope it does. . .
Wow were these only available to people on the mailing list? I'm on Mark's mailing list but strangely I NEVER get a email when the Mizaru are offered. Any other time I do, never for Troopers.
