The Thrash Man sold out too. The big ZAG is beautiful. Just wish I had the money to buy a custom, I gave my ticket to someone else in line but he was happy so shouldn't be bummed, he's a good guy and really loves Gargamel.
Ok, I'm hooked and still a Fresh Meat -- especially with Gargamel figures. I only have a Super Puncher for now . Can someone please tell me who made the Guiro Seijuu? Is it Bear Model? Has a similar feel to Bear Model figures. Love the three-some of the Leafman, Koji, and Guiro Seijuu combo! Thanks for sharing that photo! Any info on Guiro Seijuu, would be very much appreciated!
Guiro Seijin was made by Bullmark and one of the toys only made with flesh vinyl, so you wont find it cheap. These used to be $1000 or more but I havent seen one recently.
Ergh!!! Why is cuteness so expensive? Thank you for the Bullmark information Baikin! I just pulled out my Yuji book (thanks for recommending the book Mark K!), and there is that cute little guy, on page 49! I hope to adopt him one day
Future_Man, the book in question, is by Yuji Nishimura. It's a soft-cover, 82-page book, size is 11.75x8.25, published in Japan in 1996. The book contains great pictures of many Bullmark vintage toys, often including shots of figures that comprise a series. There are a few pages of toy history as well. Unfortunately (for me ), the entire text is in Japanese, but it's still a great photo reference. Mark K sent me a link to the book on YJA, in hopes of continuing my education in vintage toys
The owner of Characters near Koiwa station has one, pretty nice paint....but 600 bucks. He isn't in any of the cases, but just ask the clerk, he is a great guy....some japengrish spoken.
Some day I will go on that trip! Not this year though. I heard that Brian gives piggy back rides while making Tan Tan sounds to SSSS members on the whole tour!
Nah, he stopped doing that after someone tried to cut open his belly with a lightsaber and wear him like a coat.
just made a search through the wanted posts and no one is looking for the thrashout 5th anniversary toys. all of them are now on the grass hut online shop http://grasshutcorp.com/blog/?page_id=3&category=5
Thanks for the tip I debated that buto x garg ann. thrashman far too long....nice to see one at a reasonable price. score.
