If I put these toys in my garbage can, it’d probably gain sentience and spit them out

Angry Mama is cool and reasonably priced. Fill it with volatile solvents and watch the fun! Tik Tok chuckles galore.

Angry Mama is cool if you like how she looks, otherwise it’s just more junk for the laziest people. Cleaning your microwave once a week takes 3 minutes for goodness’ sake!

That paint job on the Godzilla is possibly the worst I’ve seen, just a huge mess.
I also weep for the RxH chaos man heads…

My mother could paint a better Godzilla and she doesn’t have arms…

Kidding.. She has arms and could still do a better job.

Just another nag-ball rip off, nothing to see here ...

I'm beginning to feel bad about posting the kid and monster. Purposefully crude, but charming. I assume the kid can use the monster like a hooded cloak ...

Clickers are supposed to be fugly so I don’t have any issue with the first one, it’s actually pretty accurate to the game/show.

That weird blue metallic version of the nasty frog thing though… I can’t tell what the fuck I’m even looking at.

indeed, but I always try to be impartial. A fugly toy is a fugly toy :)

I do find it fascinating. They've taken a butt-fugly frog toy and doubled-up on the fuglyness, but weirdly its the best version I've seen. The totally OTT metallic blue, its almost an offensive amount of blue. It does look well-made but it's really hard to look at. A lot of collectors with money to burn are loving the fugly!

Luckily, there are lotteries in place on some of these to hold down the tsunami of fan enthusiasm.

I showed the second one to my dad and his face crumpled up in disgust. He said “who buys this?”
Told him I wonder the same thing every day.

Honestly, there are a lot of fugly toys in these pages, but that Garamon(?)-type toy is just... quite lame. And it combines two of the factors which most irritate me on these 'modern art toys;' namely an absolutely horrible edgelord name (really??? This is one of the reasons I still have not gone in for any of the TW toys, despite some great pachi Ultra-Q designs) and the idiotic middle fingers. Who is that for? the person looking at it every day, i.e the buyers and fans of your toy? Who are you flipping off? And why? It is just stupid, juvenile, and makes zero sense in any context. And if anything seems to be only effecting the very people you want to actually like your toy. [face palm] Please just stop. Combining this with a Care Bears-esque aesthetic is so painfully unironic. This has all the non-appeal of the worst mass-consumed edgy pop 'art'/t-shirts/bumper stickers/blind box toys.

TL,DR - this thread is exhausting and probably takes more work to figure out than the these 'artists' actually put into their toys. Keep up the amazing work, Moog

If a fugly toy has a lottery and no one enters the lottery to win, does the fugly toy really exist?

Hopefully they build up in massive piles in a tiny, smelly room, surrounding and staring at their creator forever and anon, to always remind them of their folly and hubris.

Personally, I’m a fan of the middle finger on toys, which derives from the early 2000’s street figures that were designed by Japanese, Chinese and Korean artists, made in Chinese soft vinyl, but definitely sat closer with western toys. And while I am a fan, I think it’s VERY easy to make it contrived for the sake of edginess, as opposed to more of a “punk rock/fuck you” mood. This “Fxckmon(stupid ass name)” just has angry child vibes. It sucks.
