Thanks! Yeah, I love his stuff and was super-excited when I found out he visits out here on the regular
Just got back from the NZ tattoo convention, got a couple of pieces: View this post on Instagram Done by Capilli Tupou from tattoo sacred Auckland, NZ View this post on Instagram Done by James McKenna from WA tattoo in Fremantle, AUS (Neither pics are mine) Getting tattooed at a convention is an interesting experience. A girl at the next booth getting tattooed was in tears as her ribs were getting done - not a place to get inked at a convention I would say...
I was reminded by a friend last night that Arno pops up in this thread. My wife and I getting tattooed by him next weekend when we are in Montreal for a mini vacation.
Cool, he's the best ! Awesome Dude. I got an Arm full of is stuff! Try to have fun in Montreal, even it's -32 celcius
I got this lil ol' rose of no man's land from Arno Schultz this past weekend. It's on the right side of my ribs up near the armpit. My wife and I had a blast getting tattooed. Arno is a rad guy. Anyone looking to get tattooed in Montreal should check him out.
Ahh I remember when Koji posted that up on IG a while ago! That looks great, I love his style and how he did the texture of Godzilla.
Went to Master Arjeneeng in Bangkok to receive a Sak Yant (magic tattoo). Smaller than I expected but I am totally satisfied. For protection and power. Done with a needle thats about 14 inches long and 2 inch diameter (tapers to a point of course). By hand not machine. Before you receive the Sak Yant his assistant helps you do a prayer in Thai at the alter. You are given a few more words to recite while receiving the Sak Yant. Afterwards you receive a blessing and off you go.
5300 year old mummy shown to have had 61 tattoos. http://www.iflscience.com/plants-and-an ... 61-tattoos
tap...tap...tap...was it more painful than a machine? awesome piece that goes beyond physical aesthetic!
Not really sure I can answer that. It didn't hurt much at all in comparison to before but then it is just lines and I always felt the fill in was the real killer. But perhaps less. A great short doc from Vice on Sak Yant. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ktvsx9cUBWc
