Target Earth...Faceless Bulls and Gamerudons!

^ Yeah MWS pics are always really crappy. It looks like you can see a little bit of the grey vinyl by the Gamerudon's armpit and shoulder but it is hard to get a general feel for it. The Faceless Bulls look pretty outstanding though and I hardly ever see those come up anywhere.

 

Anyone have a solid listing of Gamerudon colorways and variations?

 

Let's see if I can recall of them from memory:

Original Red (silver eyes)
Original Yellow
Reissue Red (gold eyes)
Reissue Yellow
Grumble Toy Version (Black with Blue chest)
TE Blog Version (Black with Gold Chest)
Max Toy GID (GID based one off's)
Max Toy Purple vinyl based one off's
TE Green/Grey
Unpainted Pink

 

The Max Toy Gamerudons were on the same pink vinyl as the blank, I believe. There was both a standard painted version and the series of one-offs mentioned above.

There were additionally two special versions released exclusively through Tokyo 1-Week magazine, also on pink vinyl.

 

Yeah I can never tell in half the pics they look lavender some pink. You're probably right though since the unpainted always looks pink.

Is this one of the one-offs? I think I read/saw somewhere it was.

I have only one of the red versions, but I don't know if it's the og or reissue. I'm guessing reissue. I picked it up from Jay a few months back, but it came with no header card or anything for me to know for sure. Jay got it the same way.

 

The way to tell is by the eyes/teeth. Original version had silver where as the reissue had gold.

Got me excited just to see this on LuluBells shooting with blanks campaign....

 

Here's a sort of recent Gamerudon. Love it. Very different with the dark blue/green vinyl.

 

I'm loving the Tan faceless Bull lulu has up for the shooting blank's Japan relief fund..

So awesome to see a faceless bull as a shooting blank. I've been looking for one forever but could never afford them when they popped up. So glad to score one for 50 bucks. Great start to the day.

FUDGE...missed the faceless bull. I was waiting for midnight so my direct deposit would go through and fell asleep on the couch. Woke up to sold out. I was really hoping for a up GID Gamerudon but that Faceless looks wicked in that color!

I literally was on as soon as it went up and still was beat by about 6 people. TE needs to be less stingy with release numbers IMO. I collect kaiju not super rare impossible to get toys.

 

Same here! I was hoping this would be my first Gamerudon.

 

I would LOVE a new Bagun release, just tossing it out to the universe.

 

I asked (Chris, is it?) from Grumble to add me to his email list, but to no avail. I would at least like the opportunity even if I am seventh in line to miss out on the new releases...

Here's a run down on how I scored.

Time conversion makes it at 1am in Singapore. Drats! I had like 4hrs sleep the night before.

Evening, had a 2 hrs workout, came home for a pasta dinner by wifey, wrap up some work, packed the boys to their room. Time 11pm. 2hrs to release time. Took out Close Encounters, 2 can of drinks and a packet of peanuts. I hr into the show, thought I'd better do a dry run. Log on to GT store went through the procedure, everything working fine, good to go. 15 mins to release, really drowsy. Logged on. 5 mins to release, turn off the movie, sat my ass in front of the screen. 3 mins to go, started refreshing page. At exactly 1am Gamerudon appeared. Went through the steps. 15 seconds, made paypal payment. Scored!

You gotta to be a freaking nut case to score one of these fellas.

 

rushed home from work at about 1230am and made it with about 10 mins to spare. first time ordering from grumble toy so i was kind of apprehensive.

i thought i had my order in, but then got the email saying it was oversold. oh well, congrats to all who scored!
