Basically, they would have been creating a children's toy line for an R-rate horror movie. Not good PR-wise! Nowadays (and with the way these will likely be marketed), these are for adult collectors.
Re: SUPER7 announces ALIEN ReAction Figures! There was no pg13 rating until the 80s ( the 1st being Indiana Jones & the Temple of Doom, so an R rating did not necessarily have the same meaning as it does today.

The Terminator franchise carried R ratings as well and still had toys aimed at children, I was just pointing out that there was no buffer between pg and R ratings back then.

I almost wish they were the same cylindrical shape as the vintage ones though to match all the other fast food ones I have.
