Not really, see how the shins stick out above the feet. You can't use the neo-henshins, unless you want to grind away at the shin, I've heard guys do this, but sounds pretty labor intensive to me. Plus the neo-henshins are cool and have plenty of vinyl parts available. I don't like the thought of destroying mine.

By the way the obitsu 27cm body is probably your best bet, as the cyborg bodies that work (I think the originals and 99) are pretty pricey when they pop up. And I know the Walder figures have wide shoulders, they have to be grinded down for SB suits, not sure about Skull Toys. The obitsus are available in clear and black,

you could also probably grab a GI Joe or Hot Toys Body on ebay for 10 bucks, but it will most likely be flesh.

Joe is right about the grinding but there is another method some people use and that is heating up the vinyl of the suit until its soft enough to go over the flange. I don't do this myself, but maybe someone else can attest to it or know if it ultimately deforms the suit. Broken Zargon bodies work well as do the ideal S.T.A.R. Team bodies. Obitsu fit well, but I find them kind of thin waisted looking for most of the suits in addition to the black and clear Joe mentioned they are used to offer silver. Can't beat them for the price as their quality is really high too. I also recommend picking your cyborg up a pet or two:

Ahh - the age old question:

Obitsu bodies are aquireable, affordable, poseable and well-made.
Henshin cyborg bodies (OG or repro) are ahrd to get, more expensive and not as poseable.

But - I just cant bear a suit on the obitsus - just doesnt look right to me. A skull toys suit gets a slight pass as some came with Obitsu bodies, but a Hensin, SB or Cure suit - nope - has to be on a henshin body for me.

PS. Love the Akrokaizer head on the cyborg Brain - nice idea!

Ended up getting an obitsu body! I would love to try to find a walder body for this guy though, I agree that the Obitsu bodies do not look as good as OG Henshin or Andriod.

Companies need to start making suits again!

Glad u called em suits this time Lawrence ;)

Suit just arent that popular - while teh market for most of the toys we like is alaredy limited - this is an even smaller niche. Some made to order runs of existing suits would be nice tho.

LOL sorry, I didn't see my spelling booboo there.

Ahhh, but they're so awesome though! Yeah, its so hard to track down some of these suits so it'd be nice. If I recall right you have some pretty awesome ones.

I'd like to see some new suits too. Toxic phantoms or skull toys, they have the molds why not use them. Even if they are made to order runs.

I've actually been thinking of some ideas for a 12 inch suit and Contemplating trying to make one myself. But like its been said, there isn't much interest left. I'm trying to look into production in rotocast resin right now, as an affordable option. If it seems like it will work, I might get to work on sculpting one soon.

I think there are still enough fans out there to support a run of suits. However tons of colors, super limited and high price tags are not the way to grab them. I don't have many of the new style suits myself only a few when I could snag them cheaply. If a suit starts getting above $60 I'm really starting to think about spending that money on vintage cyborg pieces. I think a lot of the cyborg collectors who would be interested suits are of the same mindset too.

I'd really love to see some new ones come out and to get them. There are still some newer ones I want to get. I'll get around to them sooner or later hahaha.

making new suits is definitely a good idea but it'd also be interesting to see some newish type toy to make henshin inspired suits for
& breath new life into that concept. I've actually been thinking about this a lot recently & probably shouldn't be expressing that until
I've executed an idea but that's lame 'business strategy' anyway & I'm here for the preservation & betterment of toys.

Also, I picked up a supposed "70s" DK mask today for $10 from some random site I found doing further cyborg research.
They had all of the suit parts individually & the mask was the most expensive! as well as MIB (or I dunno the proper MIB
MOC LOTR lingo attributed to barbie outfits) accessories for $25.
I'm still confused by it & think I most likely got a repro & theyre either liars or clueless but most likely liars bc if u know about this stuff
ur not a casual passer by selling ur dead grandson's toys on ebay.

I thought visible innards was the OG cyborg BB but I just found The Chest Engine?! wow. it gets better & better

I was just having a similar conversation a few weeks ago with another new York brainer. Like exohead was getting there. With the base body and different suits. If he would start up again and sell bodies individually and then release suits and parts separately that would rule. But I agree a new body system would be cool, smaller 7 or 8 inches would be my preference. I actually thought about a vinyl body that was chopped at the head arms legs feet and hands and making a ton of heads and hands and feet and chest pieces and just having a mix and match system. But it would just be so expensive and time consuming to produce a vinyl figure with that much articulation and part options, I'm too intimidated to attempt it. In my mind the real head adults and frenzy figures are Coming close to having that multiple part system, they're missing the availability for interchangable legs and feet, but they're just not fully utilizing that function only selling pre assembled painted figures. But of course both have a distinct non henshin/Walder vibe. Where as exohead to me was more neo-suited henshin in appearance.

i totally agree that exohead did a great job re-imagining the whole "one body / multiple suit" concept behind vintage henshin toys. the man machines are my favorite modern sofubi and i really wish he would make more. i guess sculpting for zollmen has been filling his creative toy void as of late. anyways, the idea about exo releasing bodies and suits seperately... pure toy heaven if that ever happened!

VI was around for awhile, but The Chest Engine is brand new. There wasn't much action going on over at VI (although the archives are insane!) so one of the members started up The Chest Engine.

I think that would be really amazing Joe, but I also understand your worries about the cost and time. I think it would require a lot of both! One thought is maybe starting sort of a preorder club and when there are enough funds gathered for a set or add on, then it goes into production. Maybe also tricky but possibly worth a thought.

maybe you know what i'm talking about here DK.. I saw some wonderfest dokuro king garage kits on there a week or so ago but can't remember how I got there & have been looking for them since.
not the clear vxfxcx stuff that u have but it was some other crazy walder mutations.

Hi Kroker, give me some more info about them or description if you can. I'm pretty familiar with a lot of the one day license toys so I'd be happy to help you find them on there.
