Re: skull head butt B-movie space monsters of greatness In the pictures above (previous page) I think the one looking down on the figure it looks good, but the one looking up at him it might look a little large?
Re: skull head butt B-movie space monsters of greatness Looks fine to me, Alien's have big heads. Quick note for those w/o, Robokong looks down on you. If you display him at eye level or lower, his head's faced down, so you can't see him as well. Same with Space Sasquatch, mine are a bit higher up so I can see them stare down at my humanity with hate.
Re: skull head butt B-movie space monsters of greatness Eyes aren't bulgy enough and he teeth throw the esthetic off for me for a Saucerman. These two newest ones are more 80s style monsters and seem to have lost the campyness of the first releases. Can't wait to see what comes out after these.
Re: skull head butt B-movie space monsters of greatness I've always thought these guys were cool but never had the urge to buy one until I saw the Radar X.......
Re: skull head butt B-movie space monsters of greatness I just had to post this totally random band flyer that popped up on my buddies facebook page. He designed it, and had no idea there was a toy made from the movie. I just thought it was funny that monsters from 45-50 years ago are getting so much shine right now.
Re: skull head butt B-movie space monsters of greatness Whoever won the red Star X auction for just over 17K yen- I officially hate you. I was hoping it would sell for so much that I could tell myself, "Even if I had money, I wouldn't have paid THAT much. " Now I am disappointed that I didn't bid. But then I wonder, how can I feel regret for not buying something when I have no money?
Looks a lot better on the body but still not my fave. I finally realized what the Space Sasquatch reminds me of, the big beast from the ultra cheapie flick Equinox.
I'm personally reeeaaally tired of skulls, but that's a very cool head design. Anyone know the source of this one?
Direct source from Angel Abby blog. It's a collaboration between Angel Abby (Andy of Angel Abby designed the head) and Skull Head Butt. Wonder Festival Japan exclusive to be release on July 29. *And in case you are asking for the movie inspiration of the head. Then I have no clue. I think it's suppose to be an original design from Angel Abby.
Not really diggin this head sculpt, guess they all can't be winners. Would rather see more B movie tributes in this toy line.
I like your thinking. There are so many more cheesey monster heads from 50's ans 60's bad movies that could be done.
Have agree with Guf, Blood, etc. Really don't like this one. Want to see more B-movie tribute figures.
Yeah I agree with you guys on this, I wish they kept to the B-movie theme. I like the new head but it feels out of place. If it even was slightly related it would have helped.
