At 4.36 on this video to the left of the green Zag there looks to be a Sea Blob (from the World Kaiju book), anyone seen this before? I keep failing to get a Marmit version.
There was a mini sculpt shown a long time ago. Photo from March 2008 on Kaiju-Taro's flickr: This one seems to be larger, but similar in style.
That Sea-blob is amazing! It's so fun that Siccaluna and Marmit are like in a race to develop all the strange creatures from the 'Monsters of the World' book (if that's the agreed-upon translation?). I'd love to know more about the history of that whole series Toshiya Nakaoka put together. How many were there? Are they all made-up by him? From folklore and cryptid claims? I've started scanning some pages from the one I bought, but don't really know where to share them on the boards.
I think there two volumes of 'Monsters of the World' ,both reprinted by Siccaluna. There is another book which I picked up compiled by Toshiya Nakaoka with loads of great images and some glossy large postcards. Screenshot 2022-09-10 at 10-16-47 Mandarake Online Shop by i thorn, on Flickr
So at the end of that article there's a nice picture of IZO (& DOG MAN) I don't know if is mentioned here on this forum, because the search croaked on 'IZO'. Really great article, even in translation! Thanks!
Does anyone have any more info or pictures about the siccaluna hedorah? Not the little one, the bigger one
The one in this photo was a Treasure Festival Online 7 exclusive back in early June 2022. It was a mixed marble, so each one is different. Original photo Siccaluna used to advertise the sales.
That they released this mold anymore then at that one convention? But I'm a fan of it I'm curious if there's other colors
I didn't realize there was an alternative spelling to their name in English! This definitely adds to my search terms. I'm really hoping that they release another variant of Aldonique.... It's such a beautiful design, but it's been a year since variant two.
A sign of life! They shared these 3 mid-sized sculpts a few days ago! 1 of which faintly visible in the above image @akum6n shared years ago (haunting me ever since I first saw it.) Sounds like the other minis in that photo might be a little further out. Too bad, as I really would like a Siberian Iron Beast, because I got no room for a full-size. Still! I am VERY Excited for this mid-sized Dagigon and uni-horn beast. I would LOVE to see a mid-sized Mighty with the donut body.
