    I was wondering if it might be based on this vinyl. I have no idea what this is exactly only that it was sold in 1990 as a limited item:

    Fuck... I almost won one of those sets on YJA like a month ago. I just thought they were neat looking... do you have any more info on them?

    They look like Captain Ultra Characters.

    I don't know anything else about them, no name, nothing (there is a bit of the package visible though if anyone who can read Japanese can figure it out). Apparently they were a 200 piece limit if my wife's translation is accurate from the Taiwanese.

    You're definitely right. Does anyone have that Captain Ultra DVD set they released not long ago?

    I realize this answer is a little late, but yes, they are vinyls of Captain Ultra characters- Capt. Ultra and robot Hack.

    Judging from the package, it looks like they were limited to 200 sets and produced by a company called "Tokyo Robot."
