Not really into RxH anymore but eveything pictured is top notch, and the metallic purple chaos and gold fella on the end I would love to have. Great pick ups !
Yeah I know what you mean. It was the first time I had a chance to set up this part of the collection, which is mostly RxH releases from the last 6 months. (My older stuff is still tucked away. I posted pics last year.) Besides a ton of great designs by Mori, some of the top recent additions have been from collaborators like Mirock, Atom A Armwrestler, Nerd One, Skulltoys, Onell, and a bunch more. They all fit in so seamlessly together that it's easy to forget that RxH 2011 is made up of a big team of top notch toy makers.
Had no idea these two fighters existed. All the recent chaos stuff seemed like a lot of mutant chaos. Ugh, gotta track down those fighters!
A couple of new purchases. Amazing Shintosan. My jaw literally dropped when I saw this. One of the most visually stunning RxH toys that I have seen. I love the use of paint wipes on a black vinyl base... it can feel like an antique piece that has been worn down over years of handling, or maybe a rock with snow or moss in the crevices (depending on the colors).
Nice stuff as always Andy. Can we see some revised whole collection shots from everyone please. I have an RXH itch that needs scratchin' Thanks
That Shinto looks amazing indeed - i agree with the black vinyl base with rubs being a winner - reminds me of my Super7 version: Shintosan Super7 Mugshot by The Moog Image Dump, on Flickr
that's a great shinto. I remember seeing a picture of this and I thought it was just a one-off or something. damn, damn, damn.
finally moved into the new apartment and have been slowly unpacking the toys. nothing fancy, but i do love my RxH shelves
Glad you guys like them... Shinto is always a hard sell, haha. I don't know if they are one-offs; I was not told that they were. The Shinto is on a pearl black vinyl base and the Chaos is a black vinyl base. Offhand, I can't think of the last time that I have seen those vinyl colors used for those sculpts. Mel- where did the Chaos on the far left in the second photo come from? I've never seen that one before.
@ Melvin. Thanks for posting. Great shelves! @ aKum6n. Shinto is amazing. Silver eyebrows and silver/purple fades on the black base is so nice.
