thanks all. i finally managed to get the rxh portion of my collection re-arranged. the rest will come in due time...
Lulubell hokked up the Cupcake action! It was random so I totally didn't expect this one. I really want the metallic blue and red one's as well but this was my first choice and I lucked out. Now I need the Evil and Chaos Fighter (not expecting soon, just eventually.)
I managed to get an blank GID ChaoQ, but the painted ones matching other figures are way cooler! Plus, everything IN Andy's pic is envy-worthy... And wtfunks, how the heck did you manage to leave SDCC with so many Adults??
It just happens that it's earned it's place on the 'shelf of awsomeness' . . . the rest of the cabinet is meh!
For a kick, go back to the beginning of this thread and take a look at some of the photos from early on. What more recent RxH appreciators may not realize or remember is that this thread specifically kicked RxH into high gear among English-speaking collectors. The OG collectors almost seemed like a small cult of people who were on to something, whereas others of us had our fires ignited by their enthusiasm and interest. It wasn't until I saw some of the early collection photos here (especially Plover's) that I really "got it." Unfortunately some of the early-thread photos are no longer viewable, but enough are to make for an interesting nostalgia trip and review of how far RxH has come.
I've read through the whole thread so many times... those early posts where most people really didnt know much about it yet, and any release was a score, and all the crazy one-offs and special figures that popped up. Makes me sad to have missed it all... but it is a hell of a read.
I haven't posted here in a while. the aftermath: Other than what I'm trying to move, I have another shelf with sets, duos, and minis and that's it. I still dig RxH toys, but "life" ya know? these are some of the favorites with a couple on the way.
Thanks I appreciate your feedback. Look for new photography on a white backdrop soon. ALWAYS MIX UP YOUR COLORS! ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY ARE A VERY BROAD SPECTRUM.
Holy crap! Three shelves of top-shelf Chaos. What's the story behind the clear Armored? I know who has the orange/grey unpainted proto version (which I'd love to own), but this one's new to me...
