Post your rad stuff here. Crazy stunts, bmx, skateboarding, wild murals, just plain awesome anything! I'll start it off.. shit is mindblowing and totally WTF?!!
it's amazing how much street skating has influenced the BMX world. Great stuff, the last bmx video I watched starred Rick Thorne, so it;s been 12-13 years.
Urban mountain biking at its craziest ! I might have posted this somewhere before, but its RAD so... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xIe6hYAdw_I
ok,,tooting my own horn... me gettin rad in the princeton university fountain circa december 1987... stalefish-tuck front truck grind over the light,,,yeehaw!!!
amazing!!!!!!! there seriously isn't one thing in that picture that isn't of the utmost RAD-i-CAL nature!!
This picture of me, circa '88, has been floating around the net lately. A couple of different friends have forwarded it to me looking for answers, but I have none. Lived it, yes, but never saw it before this week. Youth in Detroit... I present it here as an example of the opposite of rad.
that's not there anymore is it? It looks awesome to ride but I've never seen that in vids or while riding NYC
I really really doubt it still exists..it was already decaying in the mid 80s... That section was the most rideable... Hard to tell in the pic,,but the coping stuck out way too far.... Hitting the lip was pretty much impossible...maybe possible for railslides but certainly no grinds... It wasn't the kind of place you would randomly happen upon skating nyc..far ne harlem... A pretty sketchy neighbourhood for a bunch of skaters to hang in at that time... Still surprised it got close to no coverage or sessions.. The only pic I ever saw was hosoi doing a pretty lofty method air off the hip...how he did that,,I don't know,,,,must of been his super radabonzical powers
Some awesome sections from "cuts" from the extra rad guys over at Animal bikes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WGdykQ7lXrE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VmFdvXQeZ0M http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Es_nV-PHcP8
