Hey Moog. Thanks for the info mate! I don't know how i missed that. Andy thought it may have even possibly been a Kaiju Taro exclusive.
It was released at Winter Wonderfestival in Feb. 2008 (http://gold.ap.teacup.com/leo2006/103.html). There is a matching 'set' of unpainted black ChaosMAN minis w/ different eye colors, which were given out individually at Shinto Gangu, as well as a Hyper Hobby prize set of eight mini Mutant Chaos in clear unpainted vinyl w/ different eye colors. I've never seen the latter and it was supposedly limited to two sets total (credit to Hank and maxaltoman for info on these two).
Thanks chiming in Daniel. Appreciate it. Great pics too. The painted set was on Kaju taro for ages. Kicking myself for never having picking it up. Also missed a set the other day on Mandarake . Hope some of the Hyper Hobby unpainted clears got split up and made their way into the wilds. Doubt it though
Have been seeing alot of Chaos Trooper release lately. Do anyone know if RxH is retiring Chaos Man or not?
Great. Will be a waste if we retire them. Hope to see some new ones soon. You have any pic of the Chaos Man that was released?
Do you mean old school fight size chaosman or the newer "adult" size? If you mean the adult size there was a Shef rainbow version a couple of weeks ago and a giga red lame version on the weekend.
I mean the adult size. Sigh....looks like another awesome release that I wont get to buy.....arrggghhh
Seriously. The Evil Bat arms work surprisingly well with the Next body, and I dig the overall look. And colors.
Looks to be a sculpt of some sort of an 'Asura' by Mirock Toy. I know he has already said in an interview that he's into Buddhist and religious sculptures but man, he is so into them. According to his blog they're 300mm (~11.5 in.) tall and apparently there will be a version with a different head.
That head looks a million times better on that body then it's original body for some reason. I dunno why. I love this release.
Kick ass I think it's because the head is facing slightly down. Angle on the head perfectly balances the angle of the arms. Amazing.
