I got mine last week and I have to say I'm very pleased with it as it is my first Gargamel custom ever.
I can appreciate the cleanliness of these lines and cutouts to expose the guts and brains, but goddamn, does it take away from the paints to my eyes. I can see just how THICK the paint is on the bodies to where it looks the majority of the body is a wrap job, rather than airbrush.
Ha! Yeah you can tell it's painted over in a couple of spots if you really pick it up and look, but the colour match with the blank vinyl (at least on mine) is exact. Same level of gloss around the joints too. I think these may be slightly nicer in person than in photos. I remember being 50/50 on the style from the gallery shots, but willing to roll the dice. In hand I couldn't be happier. But ymmv, the fragility of the whole setup does take away from things a bit imo.
I was lucky enough to receive my first choice from Ggml, this beautiful clear with guts split Miborah. He called it mosaic style in his blog post. Its a real beauty in hand.
i just received an email from Angel Abby about shipping the Gargamel preorders this month! Hopefully not too much longer before we have them in hand.
Same. They are now asking me to send my shipping information. I'm guessing this is just in case people have moved since the lottery/payment last year? Amazing that they could get the whole run redone in a month.
Happy they reached out about updated addresses as I moved back in April of 2022 and sent them an email about the address update then. I’m quite surprised they were able to redo the whole run so quickly. I thought it would be another 6 months before we heard anything about shipping. Excited as this is my first Deathra ☺️
So it seems my Angel Abby standard Deathras have been delivered this morning! Looking forward to seeing them when I get home from work. Check your tracking numbers!

Ever since the IG linking broke a few years ago I've been using postimages.com to post images to the board but I've always wondered how long they host images for. Eventually those links would theoretically die.
Just got my delivery. My first mini Deathra which is bigger than I expected. just trying to decide if I prefer the painted or blank big Deathra.
I’m the same. The simplicity of the blank, combined with the colour, really works well. Upside, if you snagged both, you don’t have to decide because you can display both
yeah its a tough choice. The blank works so well especially when the light hits it. space issues means I’ll probably only keep one but I’ll need to sleep on it and make a decision.
