I enjoyed The Curse on Showtime, I'd recommend it but I'm not sure everyone would like it. Very dark comedy about laundering white guilt in New Mexico. Benny Safdie is fantastic in it, too.
I've been watching Columbo for the first time on Tubi. He's so great! Last night he was fucking with George Hamilton so hard, explaining to Hamilton's party guests pretty much exactly how he committed the murder, but as a hypothetical, of course. So many awesome guest stars from other TV and movies when I was a kid. Can't belive I haven't seen this before. Funny how Tubi thinks I run a small business and keeps pitching me payroll solutions. Could be worse ads I guess.
This is one of our go-to family TV time shows of late. Our 11-yo loves Columbo so much I got them a Columbo t-shirt for Xmas. We just watched the one with Donald Pleasance as a vintner who kills his brother.
That episode is kind of low key brutal unlike many of the others. He literally cooked his brother to death in that cellar.
If for some reason you have Peacock I highly recommend Mike Judge's new joint, In The Know. Also, The Brothers Sun on Netflix has been a lot of fun.
