IG works, but it’s really how you use it. The more you interact the more it will show you what you frequent. So liking photos, commenting and saving teaches it what you want to see more of. If your not doing these things it won’t work as well. Turning on notifications is just a small part in how it works now. Unless your frequenting the user you want often based on that alone it won’t work. It’s definitely not an app that it started out as. But it’s really not bad if your using it as it prefers you to. It’s worked well for me so I can’t speak badly of it. Especially when users tag and share, it for sure gives me more reach faster than any message board, email list or website. I know a lot of people don’t want to comment or save etc, so that kinda puts those users in a place where the app becomes useless. That’s where the email list kicks in etc. So for me it spreads info extremely well. But I ask people who follow me to take these actions I listed and many do. I also have my email list, and then try to post in what ever other media I’m using ( website etc)
And now, the toys! These came out absolutely fantastic. KSK as a sculpt just as so much depth. The capes are an amazing addition to the DX line in general, but KSK specifically. The spikes pair with it incredibly well, especially with the 2 different materials.
It's true. The algorithm is ridiculously fickle and like/comment/save/share is only part of it. IG is monitoring how long you watch a video down to fractions of a second, so even if you don't interact at all it'll tweak what you see just based on that. I've watched some videos and my Discover feed is way shittier now.
Yeah same here. See a video that’s ridiculous that even though you don’t click on it just stalling to see what the hell that is, only gives you MORE. That I don’t like. But it’s definitely true. They discussed this in the doc “ Social Dilemma”.
When I designed it, I designed it to have a cape all along. I wanted the cape to be scalloped at the bottom as well. But it was to costly when I had the die made so I just went with flat, maybe in the future. Thanks for posting these
Long live the King! The KSK and Creepworm are my favorites of the newer sculpts. Creepworm, PK's Chimera and Izu's Ningyo are three of my favorite sculpts. Big fan of non human bodies. As for IG... I watch one video of a person making feta pasta and next thing I know, my feed is full of pasta videos!
Happy to oblige miracle man Happy to oblige.but I need to figure out how to get the link from Hey kid_miracleman - I am happy to oblige but just getting in the flow of this UI / application. And I am very happy that this is my first posting. Hey Rich - I am very excited for the extras!! You have me in suspense!! Also, congrats on your pop up shop in Asia! That looked awesome and wish I could have been there!
I’m in absolute suspense of the surprise extras along with the jumbo sludge! The purchase was a very emotional one as, I was trying to soothe myself from the big loss of the freak duo drops/lotto and the two foot sludge demon...deep down I really want the 2 freaks and midnight mirengue rat bastard. I am hoping that you have a jumbo mvh logo stamp on the bottom of jumbo sludge...would be a really nice touch along with a big ass 1/10 written on the bottom. Btw, congrats on your incredible pop up shop in Times Square! The presentation and turnout looked amazing.
Ken is great to work with, so is Knuckle. It’s hard to separate the two now. They made one of the best toy making teams in recent years. I really appreciate how they work nothing is forced. We do have more in the works, but each will have a cap before retirement. So maybe one more color way of the freak then we retire it. Colabs definitely work better this way now a days. Especially when you working working multiple colabs at once, because it can get saturated ruined fast.
Pretty stoked to hear there will be more collabs in the works. You and Knuckle are killing it with output lately. A MVH/Knuckle gallery show would probably blow up the universe!

I would love to do a show with Ken. Maybe something I can plan for DV.
It's crazy the impact bot buyers had on the last shop drop. Working as a software engineer I've found that real-time bot detection is extremely difficult. It seems impossible if you don't have full control over the site like with shopify. Also wondering how lotteries work. Do sellers generally choose emails at random? Given a large entry pool it seems impractical to manually filter out all duplicate or suspicious entries. I'm sure some malicious actors are taking advantage of that with the more anticipated drops/creators. It's an interesting problem that seems like it could benefit from some automation.
Every artist will have their own method. However, many artists will at least tie lottery applications to IG to eliminate duplicate entries. IG has become a necessity in many of the current lotteries.
Does anyone have a fink brother with all the heads? I want one. If so please dm me on my ig @jonnydungeons. Thanks! I will be posting some pics of some new MVH tomorrow cuz I’m kinda tired tonight. Sorry for the low energy gang!
That's gotta be one of the best non-posts I've ever seen. FYI: http://skullbrain.org/bb/index.php?forums/wanted.26/
Feeling non-posty but still managing to post two inane pasts towards the 25 goal. God loves a trier chancer!
