The Midnight Meringue was a real standout color way. The color coordination between the eyes and the green on the body with the yellow accents played super well, especially on the black.
That's too bad. I feel like we get a more personal connection with you on your SB posts rather than IG. IG just seems like a deluge of emojis and comments, I feel like an invisible robot making comments on IG posts.
Oh man, that is so good! I've been hunting for a painted Doji masked set but it has eluded me so far. These look so cool and the eyes really pop against that background!
Thanks @kid_miracleman I took this pic back in 2018 but never posted it here or on IG. This was my first shop drop win and my first painted MVH. I added a lower shot of DOJI in the spoiler to really show off how badass the directional sprays are on him. Don’t know why I didn’t put NOBU NAGI in the post originally, but they’re there now.
Congrats to Rich on his pop-up gallery at Incredible shop, Hong Kong! Pretty sick seeing the promo for the show playing on the big screen outside Hong Kong Times Square (@incredibleshophk). Fitting they should run a MVH-theme over at Mandarake today too. In other news: Cool to see the MVH-website now sporting a favicon as well Spoiler
Next goal is NYC Times Square Those Q&A really do help me. So many good ideas come out of them each time.
That's strange. My bookmarks toolbar now looks like this (in Chrome): It's a pretty recent update. Maybe it just takes a bit of time for it to show up on Google?
Oops! Sorry for the misinformation folks Rich, do you think you'll change it for the main site too at some point?
Incredible Shop did an awesome job on their set up. I dig the minimalist industrial setup that draws the focus to the toys and even this TV showing @Rich at work! And of course, the toys! Couldn't find full reveals of these though. This level of presentation really showcases how the craft is evolving and the quality of the work stands for itself
Yes. But it’s not a priority. The main site is more or less just a general hub I rarely use it. It’s a good place for new people to get the idea. The Shopify page is heavily used almost monthly so I just gave that the update. I had so many ideas for what I wanted to use the main site for but there just isn’t enough time in the day.
Keith is a great guy, really detail focused. All of this set up is all and staging is his direction. This pop up we planned in august of last year to be held at his smaller shop. Covid shut all that down. In the time that passed he eventually moved to the Times Square space which made we we planned look so much smaller. Had I more time I would have made more for sale. I’m still in the process of finishing up items from the last sale, and the unexpected move really set me back.
