Knowing the most I paid for any of the Muira Toys I owned was $187(I think) for the two - headed Ghidorah, on eBay no less, is amazing to me. All of the other Muira I had cost less than $100, though the Pegayos was missing its tail. But I wholly understand how some of the harder to find ones were $300+, and this Baragon commands a pretty penny. Even still, gettin’ on Manda’ and seein’ Hukkokudo repros that were once $45 going for over $200 now is crazy to me, and that’s for the more easily findable ones.
The fact that the auction for the Hukko Space Kaiju 3 went for 32,000 yen, while the vintage Miura Toy one 'only' went for 76,000 is bananas. Says a lot.
Ok, well, prices aside, can we once again marvel at the fact that there is still wonder to be found from companies like Miura decades later? Really gets the imagination going...
