BASE-man sends the e-mail to me like SPAM recently but sometimes includes the hot news in there.
This new dog seems to be released soon. Personally, A.dore-Obakedog is better though...

More like right now. It's up on the website. Pretty sick, definitely love the Luchador type mask on the hoodie.

Order link is blank on my comp ("coming soon").

Don't need the info to request an item (done it enough before) but did they stop or put email orders on hold?

Its a link to the left of the site, can't read 99% of it and there's no obvious email address but its called Base-Man. Maybe FC.

I don't know who is the Base-man though it must be SB stuff
We can subscribe it at SB shop only now (?/ If my memory is correct, we could subscribe through e-mail at first). I mean, I signed an application form and submitted it there. I can translate what they explained in the link page but I think it's useless info unless you live in Japan or near to SB shop.

What's an ICP and did it exist before Pennywise the Clown was imagined or John Gacy was on a rampage?

Oh yeah, those guys were derivative of derivatives of derivatives. I've seen similar designs as that Hoodie on things I won't mention here but they were more evil jester clown skull than SB's evil spider clown. They definitely predated ICP.

Not sure what that SB design was inspired by but it could be from lots of things. It sucks that ICP aped a well worn logo concept and its now credited to them. It was done much better many many times before ICP existed.

Yeah, it doesn't matter if they're just ripping off images, they did enough to ruin them for everyone. I never "credited" them to anything (except perhpas liking Faygon way more than anyone should), but due to their overuse of images of a similar nature, it's been pee'd on.

I don't think its the fact that it is a clown, its the fact that its a multicolored stupid looking clown way too similar to colors ICP use and like blood drinker said, they dealt a fatal blow to that style

    [IMG][IMG][IMG]

Of course you can always tuck in the necklace and put the hoodie down to display it, so it shouldn't be a deal breaker.

Those look a bit more similar to the SB hoodie as the decal from the devices they lifted them from did. The decal was more sophisticated so ICP must have needed to dumb it down before they appropriated it.

Colour swaps are ICP, blunting/watering down the logo was ICP; the jester evil clown graphic though was borrowed from the decal imho.

I do see your point with the simplistic colour swaps though. The decal didn't have those. Although to me the hoodie looks more slick than the ICP lifts.

I liked the HP dog heads Kaz first posted so doubt the hoodie will be seen much at all.

ICP are non-entities imho so I'll likely just see an evil spider clown hoodie influenced by a head shop item's decal anyway. ICP never got on my radar at all.

I've been around too many Juggalos (spelling?) for ICP NOT to be a "non-entity" in my life. It's more than it just being a clown, it's the particular design and colors too as previously mentioned. Hoodies on toys are stupid anyway, ALWAYS, what's underneath is pretty cool.

I love SB's current dog-runs, coll stuff (without the hoods.)

True that; clothing's nice but if I buy a toy its for the sculpt & colorway. If anything, clothing should accentuate it not hide it.
