Jay, your Deathra collection kills! I wasn't into the Deathra sculpt but seeing your pics and all the cool variants has me thinking otherwise. The full size are boss! So glad to see the SB community alive and willing to help others.
Thanks so much Zinc! So in love with the sculpt. This Big Deathra addition is making me like the details and everything about it more. Shows a lot of character and edge. The name it self (no pun intended) kills! Haha. I still have a wish list for the minis: maybe an orange, dark blue, or red unpainted. For the big ones, my trio fave, 55 blue, orange with orange spray and the unpainted black, and/or Thrashout black with red eyes and silver spray! Yes, the sense of community is still here in SB, in several forms.
I'm not usually one to gush about HPs, but those standard sized Deathras are gorgeous and among the best examples I've seen of both Koji's and Kiyoka's work. I love customs such as those that look like really well done production pieces much more than the experimental-painterly-elaborate customs we are seeing more and more of these days.
Exceptional work done by the two artists, IMO. I first thought the metallic one is by Kiyoka but later found out its by Naoya. I'm not very familiar to his painting style, but so far, the pieces he has done that I've seen are impressive. The choice/combo of colors and the fades/transition from one color to the other are all remarkable. Very clean, light application upon inspection in hand. This particular piece almost lends itself to picture perfect shots. Given that its painted in all metallic colors, it absorbs a good amount of light: With Koji's, I have been buying his customs and I always appreciate the subtlety of his approach to each custom pieces. At the same time, he uses neon paint that makes it pops out. Awesome.
I guess I should have known from the metallics, it is totally his signature color palette now that I think about it.
is it actually metallics, or is it a silver base coat with transparent color sprays over that? the satin/soft finish is beautiful. it's a nice contrast to the glossy, mirror-finish metallics we've been seeing lately.
I really like how this toy turned out--Josh did an awesome job, as with his paintings and other artworks. Sunguts Honpo!
One of the best Kaiju collections there is! Such a sharp eye on the finest toys around! It is a plesure to watch! Thank you very much!
New Year...new set up--re-arrangement of toys, shuffling and stowing to rotate the love. Some western OGs brought out for display... RXH Mutant Evils' turn to strut...
Its the same l desk--the paint keeps on fading every year. Its been 3 years since I set this up , so the bright orange became a bit faded...
Sharp eye Its my random corner which contains some Buta 'heroes' and a pair of Sofvi Jet Jags for now Thanks Jeff!
Nice, as always! I just got into the Captain Sunguts - didn't know there were that many. Are they all production releases?
Jay I hope you just moved your Zollmen/ Target Earth/ Hukkokudo collections, or maybe just rotated?! Nice display as always though.
You, Randy and Jhateball ! Yup, everything you mentioned and more are all kept and stacked in plastic containers. I had to rotate the collection since they wont fit all at once in my display. Thanks for the appreciation guys!
Dear Jay, Nice to meet you. How much time you need if you want to clean your toys? You have so many awesome toys.GREAT COLLECTION!! Angel Abby-ANDY

Hello Abby-ANDY It takes a couple of hours to dust and wipe them each with damp cloth when dust accumulates...its a bit of a chore but actually I really have fun doing it periodically.
