Was going to bed but feel sick and restless. Can not even imagine the stress over there this morning....... Hoping to hear from some friends soon to at least know 1st hand informations. Coverage over here is really lame.

Very worrisome indeed, and I am glad to hear since that it was not so damaging this time. Japan is one country that is an expert at preparing for and mitigating earthquake effects, and even then, there is only so much you can do. My thoughts are always with the people in these situations; we are truly at Nature's mercy. Not sure if it is just more coverage these days, but the apparent increase in frequency of tremors is concerning as well.
Geologically there has been unprecedented activity this past year globally. As if something huge has effected our little place in the universe. I recall watching a documentary on anomalies with the sun about 9 months ago that were unsettling to say the least. ELE conjecture always scares the shit out of me. Just hoping the news, at least for Japan will be stable when I wake up.
Things seem stable today and was glad to hear from a few friends. Was a good reminder of what really matters in life.
