I have a mac pro dual platform desktop and its unbelievably bad-assed. with boot camp i can run both pc and mac programs simultaneaously etc.
It has power issues. Sometimes the battery won't charge others it won't turn off. The DVD has broken twice and now the mouse pad button is stuck.
looks like hardware not software issues...i can't help. sounds like you beat it up pretty good...do you have applecare still?
I travel a lot but the Macbook has handled it worse than any other portable I have owned. Thankfully I have about 18 months left on applecare and I will probably want a new computer by then anyway.
Looks like the Apple is starting to lose its shine: http://apple.slashdot.org/story/10/07/1 ... us-Roundup Anyone get an iPhone 4 and having problems with it?
noooo problems here, sad to hear about the issues though I love mac been with them since the first imac and been up to date since never had a problem my macbook air is great my iphone 4 has been outstanding hope some of the issues won't discourage ya and if your always on the move and have the funds for it an ipad is great i haven't touched my laptop in a while of course you have to get passed the flash issue
I have had zero problems out of my iphone4 and I get better reception. Places my 3Gs would get no service I'm able to now make calls. Facetime is awesome! If you don't want to use wifi you can use Fring and make video calls over 3G. I've tried to drop calls by holding/covering the lower left hand corner and have been unable to do so. I can get the bars to drop (soemtimes), but have not been able to drop a call this way. I haven't heard any of my friends/family complain about any of the issues that are swarming the internet.
I have had zero problems with my phone. If anything, this version is far better than the 3G I had been using for the past 2 years. Battery life is way better, no dropped calls, and the load time on my apps has been cut in half. I am waiting to use facetime, but once my bf gets his white iphone we will be using it all of the time.
Free case or full refund to whoever wants them: http://news.google.com/news/more?pz=1&c ... 9FoB3xAImM This was pretty smart on their part.
