I will take this quick note to salute the ever incredible Ishiro Honda and inestimable genius of Eiji Tsuburaya, together with no small nod to the amazing work of Haruo Nakajima, for birthing such a creation, changing the face and definitions of what we called 'monsters', and giving us generations of delight.
